You are simply a moron. Religion has caused more war and suffering than you are probably willing to admit. What really kills me everytime... if you were truly what you say you are, a good christian, you would not spew forth the venom that you do. You would not put down those with different views or ideology. If yours is a God of love, then you would accept, forgive, and attempt to understand and embrace those different from your beliefs. I believe the word is hypocrite. Instead, you turn a deaf ear, continue to try and shove your beliefs down peoples throat, and come across as though you are better than those not of like thinking. YOU are definitely what gives religion, faith, a bad name. IMO, based on some of your posts, I believe that you are also racist. Have a nice day...

Hypocrit is a word probably most often used to descibe a Christian. Why, because many or most have the mindset that we are suppose to be perfect. Sorry, but we aren't. We are suppose to follow in Christ footsteps, but we many times simply cannot or won't. You say breeze spews forth venom. Jesus spoke of this and said, “Listen and understand. What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
Paul reminds us in Ephesians, "Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption."
Anotherwords, we must work at keeping our hearts pure so pure things come out of our mouths. A difficult task when the accuser is so close to tempt us. All of us here know that I am capable of these things too. All of us have the goodness given us, we must strive to follow the Holy Spirit's guidance. We need to remember our struggle is not with flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil.

Christian Religion vs True Relationship
Please understand, I'm not selling "Christian religion" here. If anything, I still believe "religion" has kept more people from God than anything else in history.
Actually, I've discovered that true Christianity isn't a Christian religion at all - it's discovering and establishing a relationship with God. It's trusting in Jesus and what He did on the cross for you and me,1 not on what we can do for ourselves.2
"True Christianity" isn't about "organized religion." It's not about hierarchical structures, ornate buildings, flamboyant preachers, or traditional rules and rituals. In fact, let's just drop the "Christianity" label all together. Simply, it's pursuing and reconciling three basic questions of life:
Does God exist? If so, what am I going to do about it?
Is the Bible true? If so, what does that mean for me?
Who is Jesus? If he is who he claims to be, how will this reality change my life?
Again, it's not about the so-called "Christian religion" at all...
It's not about the man-made machine we know today as "Christianity"...
It's all about Jesus.
He's either the Son of God who offers the only true hope for the world, or he's not.

The faith I live by is to be good to others, believe that everyone has the chance to be decent to fellow man, and to encourage growth in everyone.
I don't need to be "guided" by a book that was translated by candle light on a dirt road en route to the gilded king (James), from the supposed dead sea scrolls (which no one will admit to having today), all written by MEN who believed the world was flat, the sun revolved around the earth, and women were inferior.
Consider the source of your core being before "offering" your beliefs to others (in hopes to "save" them).
A good friend of mine, who is VERY religious, would tell you that god could simply be aliens. His argument is that you see a lot of similar drawings, carvings, symbols, etc. all across the world in places where different religions have been said to be founded. Sadly, I find more credibility in this idea, than the one Christianity demands to be true!
