The first time I met Tip, me and a buddy of mine went to his house to pick up a paint gun. The first thing that I thought when he came to the door was holy sh@t! He was almost the exact way I had pictured a biker to look in my head. Meeting him right at first was pretty intimidating, but as has already been said, he had a heart of gold and was one hell of a guy that definitely lived life to the fullest extent possible.
You will be missed man...

About a week ago, his family had a big birthday party for him at a local restaurant, his 52nd. They were laughing and having a great time. How nice that they did that. Memories last forever. He was a "dry biker" who did alot of good in the community. Took kids fishing, etc. his biking companion that night was a neighbor and also on the force. My heart goes out to him as well as his sister, Starr and 4 children and many grandchildren. Lets hope that we all are more aware of bikers out there on the road and for those with misconceptions about them. Realize the good things that many do for their communities.

Did anyone see the parade of motorcycles today in honor of Tip?  It was an amazing site and goes to show just how loved he was.  My prayers go out to all who knew and loved him.

No I didn't, but knowing Tip, I'm sure the church was packed.  I was sorry I couldn't get to the funeral.  I couple of guys at work went though.  Both Harley owners.

Give it time minnow, even the legal system has a heart, I would say they are letting the family have time to mourn. The investigation is still on going. Once the reports are in, involuntary manslaughter charges may or may not be filed.
