Does face to face with all Freeborn County Commissioners except Shoff count?  Done.. Thanks..

I assume this was/is at a commissioners meeting.  Where was Chris?

You do know he is Democrat.

Yes it was.. Shoff was out of town at some meeting or something.. Paperwork and photo was given to all..

This situation isn't about republican or democrat, it's about right and wrong..

I never said it was.  I thought the  would get my comment past that.  Chris and family are friends.

I would think that your appearance at the meeting will have some effect?

See what happens when you usually do make everything about Dem or Rep instead of what is right or wrong. :D

I'd agree on contacting your commissioner, either over the phone, email, or at a meeting.  They'd be the first call I would make on an issue like this.

Does face to face with all Freeborn County Commissioners except Shoff count?  Done.. Thanks..

Fair enough, sounds like you've covered your bases than.

Yeah, city and county business is non-partisan.  Some of us know the Shoffs, so I think Maddog was jesting.

Speaking of which, too bad Commissioner Shoff wasn't at that meeting, everyone knows if you want to get anything done you gotta talk to a Democrat.   :;):  :peaceout:

I commend you on going before the board.  Don't worry, after you've done it a couple dozen times you'll quit fidgeting.

Your pictures (reply #54) is your property line where the asphalt ends?  The mailboxes are farther east on the gravel.  In the picture in your first post I see a stake that you identify as where the road ends, but is it also your property line?

In reply #5 it is apparent the plow driver must be getting a little pissy.  Maybe because of the frustration in the inability to turn around?

Looking at reply #54 is there just one mailbox?  Where is Mr. Claussen's box?  On Co.Rd. 101?

Google maps looks like there must just be a minimum access drive to a back building?

Is this the Dan Claussen at Lou Rich?

Daniel Claussen has a concrete driveway on 733rd Ave with 6.5 acres and hundreds of feet of road frontage..

He built a barn 3 years ago and now wants all the snow stuck up the half acre home owners only exit at the dead end of 224th Street instead of the turnaround of 70 years.. He has no integrity, just like Dell and Forrie..

Yes he works at Lou Rich..

Property line is where you see it on Beacon with several feet of gravel after the asphalt..

It's obvious you have no place to allow them to pile snow on your property.

It's nice Belshan asked questions, but the problem is way bigger than the wind row of snow left behind by a plow after it passes.

You say Claussen wants the snow shoved up the 1/2 acre homes on 224th.  Do you have any other owners who feel the same way?  Claussen is more than just an employee at LR.

It looks like you can:

Meet with the township board and him to try to resolve this.

or

Ask the snow plow to back into your drive and plow east.

or

Turf War in Itasca.

:boxing:
