You have to continue to invest in your tractor trailer to keep it up and running or you go out of BUSINESS.. Sometimes you even have to take out a loan to make repairs..

US Coal Production
2009, 975.2 Million Tons
2010, 983.7 Million Tons

Once again you go with the wiki BS :dunce:

Coal production is declining, many electric plants are switching over to propane and this will continue till the whiners piss and moan and bring an end to fraking.Your god Obama wants to bankrupt the coal industry.

So I have to take out loans to repair my equipment? Sorry, haven't what'd to do that in about twenty years, self financed. You see when you're responsible and don't get stupid with money like our politicians have you don't have to over extend yourself.

Rummy's tax return again? Do I have to trot out Dayton again?

It just goes to show how that the lame stream media is in the tank for Obummer.

It took a NavyTimes staff writer to report that during the DNC convention tribute to vets that they displayed Russian Navy warships on the screen.

What a bunch of idiots...and you guys want them running our country...good grief...

Not from Wiki.

Energy Resources
U.S. coal production increased, EIA says

Published: Feb. 14, 2012 at 6:18 AM

WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Coal production from the United States rebounded from 2009 and showed a second consecutive year of increase, the U.S. Energy Department reported.

Production from the U.S. interior, which includes Texas, increased 6.4 percent from 2010 levels to around 166 million tons. Texas accounted for 40 percent of that increase, the Energy Department's Energy Information Administration reported.

Coal output from the Appalachian region near the East Coast increased 0.6 percent compared to 2010 levels while western coal production declined 1.2 percent compared to 2010, the EIA said.

The reporting agency said about 93 percent of the coal consumed in the United States was used in the electric power sector. The EIA, in a separate report, said that while U.S. natural gas production was increasing, coal would dominate the energy sector for the immediate future.

U.S. exports of coal reached a level not seen since 1991, with around 107 million tons of coal sent to overseas markets last year. The EIA said the United States increased its coal trade to countries like India, Japan and South Korea because flooding in Australia, the world's largest coal exporter, disrupted coal mining there.

So as you can see. Our energy resources are being exported on every level. Except wind, solar, and nuclear.

Really...
Some day my grandkids will show your grandkids your mindless comments. Seen pictures of mountaintop removal? https://www.google.com/search?...el=fflb

After looking at some pics, how about doing some reading on the poisoning and devastation associated with it.

Seen pictures of the tar sands?  https://www.google.com/search?q=tar+sands+devastation+pictures&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=fflb

After looking at the pics, how about doing some reading on the poisoning and devastation associated with it. Also check into the cases of eminent domain happening with tar sands pipelines. Either comply or have your land seized.

It's hard to even keep up with the amounts of fracking problems. These sources of energy/fuel are limitless? Of course not, yet we continue to keep on doing what we always have done instead of devoting more attention to alternatives. It's mind boggling.

Whiners huh?
