QUOTE Two black males wearing ski masks reportedly robbed the Mileage gas station on Front Street in Albert Lea Friday night before assaulting one of the workers and then leaving the store. One of the males reportedly brandished a small black handgun and demanded money from a store employee, according to the Albert Lea Police Department. The employee gave the male an undisclosed amount of cash and was then assaulted before the two males left the store together in a vehicle. No information had been released about the vehicle or the extent of the employee’s injuries. The alleged armed robbery took place at about 10 p.m. The gas station is at 1311 W. Front St. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Albert Lea Police Department at 377-5200. Albert Lea police were assisted at the scene by the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and Gold Cross Ambulance
They must be mistaken. Aren't they suppose to just describe their height and weight?
Now the fishwrap is calling on every Albert Lea resident to be on the look out for two men of a certain color. This has got to be terribly emotional for everyone whom this description fits.
Is there riots on the corner of Front and Lincoln yet? Throwing rocks and burning ABC will be next. Oh the horror the Tribune has created.
This could be another Ferguson.

I don't think they should give what sex they are either. That is pretty general. How about age, can't be picking on an age group. Someone robbed a gas station.

A smart guy like you thinks that they're not including descriptions if they leave out the race that the victim guessed the person to be? Do you think they're not going to include a description like very dark complexion and other features?

I really believe that this type of gender stereotyping is unacceptable and could lead to discrimination as well.
A person was believed to be doing something possibly illegal.

This is the kind of BS that needs to stop. If you comprise 12 percent of the population, yet you get found guilty of 75 percent of the crimes, maybe it's time to stop blaming the cops and courts, and start finding fault with your own culture.
