Do all jobs qualify? What if you are retired and want to work at wal-mart as a greeter? Should wal-mart be foreced to pay you a 'living wage' even though you don't need it since you are not on gov't assistance?
I'm not against what you are saying with subsidizing those on assistance, but I think the issue much more complex than just raising the minimum wage.

Our tax dollars shouldn't be used for any type of subsidizing, PERIOD!
