I don't begrudge a person for rising to the ranks of CEO.  In fact, I don't begrudge anyone for making more money than me unlike the others in this thread.

If you want to start a business out of your garage and grow it into a multinational conglomerate, then so be it.  I don't care.

CEO Tillerson from Exxon Mobil made $40 million in 2012, CEO Kent from Coca Cola made $30 million in 2012..

$10 an hour?

Seriously.  Go to your kitchen and find the dullest, most blunt instrument you can find.

Look at it.

Study it.

Now...this item that you are staring at is still sharper than you.

Let's put this in perspective.  Coke has over 900 plants world wide employing over 150,000 people.  What kind of economic impact do you think this company has on families and communities around the world.  Think about the awesome responsibilities the management has to ensure this company stays in business.

I now know that you have no common sense or maybe no sense at all..

Many of the countries Coke is made, the employees can earn less than $3.00 a day..

Coke has been around for nearly a century and could function for at least the next two years with one of the 150,000 employees making $25,000 a year, OK I'll add a $5000 bonus if he can screw the employees out of higher wages and benefits..

$30 million salary makes no sense.. Just like you have no sense..

Or Coke could just pull out of those countries and then employees can earn $0 instead of $3 a day, to use your example.

So the CEO makes 30 million.  What's it to you?  You made your choices and he made his from a career standpoint.

Stop playing the victim.  Sheesh... :frusty:

Stop playing the victim.

Seems the only ones playing victim around here are the ones crying about subsidies for the poor, and how it's making such a huge negative impact on their quality of life, and so forth.

Gotta love the numbers.

According to Nielsen, who has been tracking TV viewership since 1992 for the SOTU address, Bambino's numbers have been falling.

Here are Obama's State of the Union viewership numbers by year:

2009: 52.4 million

2010: 48 million

2011: 42.8 million

2012: 37.8 million

2013: 33.5 million

2014: 33.3 million

The docudrama, 'Lizzy Borden Took an Ax' shown on Lifetime last week had more viewers.

How is a restaurant suppose to keeps prices favorable to the public & pay wait staff $10 or more $$ an hour!!

Limbaugh says everything in your post, almost verbatim.  "Min wage jobs are just kids, gaining experience for advancement..."  Don't believe the hype, it's been proven wrong again and again.

I remember when they raised the min wage to $5.15 the pundits gave the same reasons why not to.  They thought the price of a happy meal was going to skyrocket if we raised the minimum wage to $5.15 an hour.

Obviously none of those things happened.  And it'll give the REAL job creators a chance to spur growth with more buying power.

She can’t help it, she has a fetish for obese men!

Why the Republicans would kowtow to this draft dodging drug addicted wind bag is beyond me.

Birds of a feather flock together.
