NO.1  I live on my s.s.  and  mil. pen. 401 k
NO.2  I didnt pay a dime in fed taxes.
NO.3 I could have paid a little with no problen.
So dont give me all those sob stories.

Hmmm just your Military Pension would put you at a taxable level as a single, rough estimate of staff sergeant's pension 1600 x 12 = 19,200. the average S.S is 1,177 x 12 =14,124  so now we're talking 33,324 which would put you well into taxable territory even as a couple, we didn't include your 401k so let's just say 500. a month 6,000 a year so our grand total, low-balled IMO is 39,324.. you paid no tax? I know SS is only taxed at a percentage of you income level but how can you avoid taxation?
You're AGI is still above EIC levels $13,460 ($18,470 married filing jointly) with no qualifying children.
Unless you have a house full of dependents I don't see how you avoid taxation.. Al Capone went to prison for tax evasion!

This wasn't an attack on you pepi, the tax system in this country is way too full of exemptions and loopholes and many who have the money don't pay, I'm talking much more money than a retired Sergeant makes...

Don't feel bad about not paying tax, I'm paying enough for both of us and then some...

I think the 51% that do not pay taxes at all  should start paying there fair share also. I am so tired of having to carry them on my back all year.  :woohoo:

So which post is true, are you sick of "carrying them on your back all year", or are you one of the 51% that you complain about?

Why is it that Radical Right-Wing Republican Kooks don't want to fix crumbling bridges, highways or schools and make the rich pay for it?

Nice inflammatory comment there. lol

Isn't that in the realm of a few of the things the government is actually supposed to be taking care of already?

How is it that things have gotten in such a state of disrepair?

And by the way Im not a stupid REP or a damn DEM

All I can say is it's a good thing everybody doesn't adopt that same non- party allegiance.

Otherwise people like Laura Ingram might have to try and sell Fake Estate, or something, instead of guiding her minions.

Or whatever it is that she's doing.

I mean besides selling advertising.

If it wasn't for the Bush tax cuts for the rich, lack of regulations on derivatives and a FALSE WAR in Iraq started in the early 2000's , we could of had a STATE OF THE ART TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM, STATE OF THE ART EDUCATION SYSTEM and LOW UNEMPLOYMENT..

People are so stupid if they don't realize how much better life would be today if Republitards wouldn't have destroyed the foundation of the American Way of Life..

Bush and the Republicans did more damage to this country and are responsible for more American Deaths than Osama Bin Ladin and Al Qaeda.. Who's the frikin real terrorists of Americans??
