The Friggen Ed Show?  Give me a break.  You can slice and dice vids, take them out of context just to support your belief.

My question is, are all you libs planning to (bleep) Reagan's (bleep) now?

Are you saying the rich don't pay more taxes?  Can you fog a mirror?

Millionaires in favor of raising their own taxes remain hopeful

“Public opinion has never been more behind our position that we need to restore balance in the tax code,” he says, “and 30 to 50 years of tax cuts for the wealthy should be reversed.”

Wealth for the Common Good http://wealthforcommongood.org/about-us/who-we-are/

http://blogs.reuters.com/reuters...hopeful

Only 375,000 Americans have incomes of over $1,000,000

Between 1979 and 2007, incomes for the wealthiest 1% of Americans rose by 281%

During the Great Depression, millionaires had a top marginal tax rate of 68%

In 1963, millionaires had a top marginal tax rate of 91%

In 1976, millionaires had a top marginal tax rate of 70%

Today, millionaires have a top marginal tax rate of 35%

Reducing the income tax on top earners is one of the most inefficient ways to grow the economy according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office

44% of Congress people are millionaires

The tax cuts were never meant to be permanent

Letting tax cuts for the top 2% expire as scheduled would pay down the debt by $700 billion over the next 10 years

So now you want to focus on those making over a million.  Funny, Obama considers those making $250k, rich.  You're all over the place ALC...which is it?

Maybe you can come up with an original thought...it may keep you on track.

Personally, I think those statistics are bogus.  Why?  Because no one is volutarily sending the IRS a check as we speak today about it.  If the "rich" have that much conviction over paying more taxes then let's seem them walk the talk.  oh...they aren't.

That's why I think it's all crap and nothing more than liberal propaganda.

ALCitizens,  Why don't you spend as much energy on things the gov't can cut that would affect the deficit but wouldn't affect our national security or our infrastructure?

You blast wealthy people because you're jealous.  You didn't make the right decisions that could have landed you in that group and now you're pissed.  That's sad.

Nuff said...

Cutting out tax breaks to the high income earners would be a good start...It would help reduce the deficit.... :D ...ned

I think taxing millionaires is an easier sell..

You Republican teabaggers that want to return to the 18th century have already done enough damage to this country.. Chit is about to hit the fan and you are the chit, give up and join the sane people or fall victim to the wrath of true democracy..

I admit that I'm one of the nearly 299 million people in America that isn't a millionaire.. I have nothing against those that prosper as long as they do it legally..

It's Time to GET MONEY OUT of politics.. Please sign the Petition at:
