Thank you both for the websites.
It was kind of funny when I was searching for Ryan's site ... a website came up that said, "were you looking for Harig for Sheriff?" ... aggressive!!

Looks like Harig called the jail and told 17 of them to start voting. Even though I've heard only "his" voting budies are the only ones saying the jailers jobs are in jeopardy.

It's sad that even a half dozen people would vote for that crook. If we had a real newspaper they would do some looking into the seizures this crook has made and essentially given away to his friends and family.

Wasn't it just last year that the seizures being missappropriated for personal use, came to light in St. Paul, MN?

I am afraid to even comment about Harig, he has big ears and a long reach.

I wouldn't vote for Ryan Merkouris. I remember when he and his wife ran the Bagels and Beans business ... they didn't get many customers once they started using moldy bread for their sandwiches. Gross.
Seem to remember that they filed for bankruptcy a couple years ago, then not long after, built a brand new house. How would he be able to balance the county's budget, if he can't balance his own checkbook? Just a thought ...
I'd rather have someone who had years under their belt, and knew what they were doing. Someone who would go after the criminals, and who would raise money for the county. I know Nolander didn't do that.

How would you raise money? Didn't know the police was open for bidness.

Benefit breakfasts used to be for the boy scouts, hockey boosters, people without health insurance, and the truely needy. Sheriff Harig seems to think the local government needs to get in the pancake breakfast buisness to raise money for his special interests and take away from the needy, and get his name mentioned as a big humanitarian.

During elections we get a lot of 1 post members bashing candidates.
Personally, I like the idea of a young sheriff, and I think it's great that they would run when they see how ugly Harig's crew can be. You know the ones, they usually walk in the parade for him. I was talking to a woman several years ago and she flat out told me that he offered her a dispatcher job if she would help him get re-elected.
