I too can read books and make judgements, but it doesn't make them correct

The sheriff is a salaried employee and therefore is always on duty.  If other deputies were at the booth when you went by they were just there to say hi.  You guys are really grasping to find anything to rip the sheriff on.  Nothing changed from last election and I don't remember anyone having a problem with his uniform before.  Really the guy helped create jobs and just because you didn't get one you're upset.  The meth problem is almost gone.  The cost of the jail is way down, and to that you say why does he wear his uniform?  pretty weak

Sorry, I just can't let this one slide by.  Salaried or not, all sworn Law Enforcement take an oath and are technically on duty all the time. (some more than others)

But stating that the meth problem is"almost gone" is like saying that the State Patrol has got a handle on the speeding problem on the Freeways.  Sorry, not buying either one of those statements!

Local law enforcement has solved the drug war on meth? that's an amazing claim and this could put Albert Lea on the map in a big way.  We should take this nationwide.  I don't think law enforcement is on record as ever solving any drug problem.

We are on record for solving the meth issue and we must teach the world our secrets. I think this is absolute proof that law enforcement can and will solve the drug problems. Prohibition works! Law enforcement can and will make prohibition work. End of story, no further discussion ever needed from here to eternity.
