My claim is provable I pointed you to many web sights There is a book called the "Descendants of John Howland" which list all of them as I listed above My sister has a copy I will have her scan it in and email the page to me.
You cannot claim to be associated with a company that you do not work for and harass people in their name you put that company in a position of liability for your action that company will most likely retaliate and sue you for falsely representing yourself.
And Repo I just want to know who you are so I can send you a bar rag I thought you should have original equipment for this is the dumbest thing you ever did. I wouldn't ever follow through on my legal threats it was all laughable it made great conversation with people that post here that personally I do know other than talking about the county and the city.
We all have to take responsibility for our actions whether it be getting behind the wheel driving just above the legal limit of consumed alcohol or being stupid If I was you I would clean my shoes cause I think you really stepped in it.

He never claimed that he worked for the Tribune, he has said all along that he said he was writing an article for the Tribune and as scorenix pointed out "a letter to the editor would suffice". Also he never said the "Albert Lea Tribune" and since he doesn't live here he could have easily meant The Star Tribune.
So as far as the Tribune's legal threat, it's not a big deal and certainly not the first time I've gotten a letter like that. I certainly won't give up Repoman's IP address or anyone elses without a court order and even if I were compelled to give up the IP address his ISP would still require another court order. That's going to cost a fair amount of money for a case that would be difficult just to prove legal standing let alone prove any damages by his actions.
I can see where his actions may have put the Tribune in a tight spot by posting what he did on the forum but people probably do things like that all the time, they just don't find out about it because people usually don't admit they did it on a public forum.

Why would you call the man Drunken cause he was swept off the boat in a storm. I can validate it the information that he and I are descended from this man is a matter of public record. There is a book that as I said my sister has that list all of the descendent of John Howland It list my family up to my mother and her bothers along with the Bush Family and other famous people to the link I provided.

I'm doing an article 'for them' (rather I am or WAS going to send it to them) regarding convicted sex offenders moving into Minnesota from Iowa...
maybe I'll send it to the Austin Herald if this is how they react...
