Maybe the size of the budget he was given wasn't enough to do what he said he would do? As far as only posting to bash someone you don't agree with, why is that post any different than yours Minnow? You bash the ones you disagree with in your posts. Even threads get changed to get your bashing in. We have gotten off the drug war theme for awhile, but now you are constantly pointing a finger at Truth and RepDan in every post. Is that any different than what you complained about in the post pointing at Belshan? Hypocrite.

So what, he blew his budget in 2 months. At least he's coming up with some innovative ideas to raise money. He managed to get a Harley donated.

Bad guys, is plural, which makes it sound like there has been more than one incident that a criminal had better firepower. I'm starting to think they're glad that the bank was robbed by a guy with a full-auto weapon, otherwise they wouldn't be able to have a shopping spree at the gun store and believe its actually necessary.
Does anyone remember the clips of the guy who stole a tank from an armory, and went driving around the city demolishing things in his path. Why didn't the local police in that area get a tank to "match the firepower of the bad guys" after that happened?
Do you honestly believe that the San Diego Police Department does not have access to equipment and a plan to stop a tank now.

1911 style pistols have no half cock safety, you are thinking of a revolver. or a conventional lever action rifle.
Training my dear. Anyone can remove a safety and accidentally shoot someone. Only training will stop such mistakes, not safety devices.
Glocks are excellent at what they do. The average joe can learn to keep his damn finger out of the trigger gaurd until he is ready to discharge the gun. Simple.
