Let teachers faculty and staff to be armed.  All gun free zones accomplished was a target rich environment where a determined nutball knew full well everyone would be forcibly disarmed.

At the time of founding it was quite common for the adults to be armed and in some instances many locales had laws that required the carrying of arms of not only in schools but also churches.

In the grand scheme of things, such a law allowing the adult to carry in schools would satisfy the text, history and tradition as defined in Heller and Bruen.

^^ Albert Lea has two School resource officer (SRO) these officers are regular cops paid by our taxes that work at the schools. These guys are a lot better trained in firearms than some teacher. You're talking a lot of liability giving teachers guns, I can see a lot of kids going down to friendly fire..

In Miller's video he makes some excellent points about school buildings and the difficulty securing such a building with all the windows and doors, auxiliary facilities and hundreds of kids coming and going at one time.

Blocking off the windows and chaining the doors, and arming rooky teachers is a recipe for disaster..

I've been to the Courthouse several times and I never make it through that metal detector no matter how much I put in that little tray, now imagine 300 kids or more lined-up to go through that detector or be late for class!  

Don't get me wrong I'm all for keeping these kids safe, but SROs and Minnesota's gun laws are working..

Maybe if you RED STATE dwellers would spend the money to put SROs in schools and tighten up the gun laws you could protect your children too...

So your solution is to just rely on two armed people when a force multiplier could be implemented.

Are police officer really that better trained?  Wearing an uniform and donning a tin badge does not an expert make and who's to say that people aren't going down by friendly fire by police?

As to MN laws working, well only to point that those who don't intend to harm are going to comply.
Police are used in schools around these parts.

With the number of school shootings I'd venture to say yes the police are training for this scenario. After the failure of the police response at Uvalde I'd say ALPD as well as police units across the country have picked up their game and have a new playbook.

I'm sure the school districts/teachers have some type of active shooter plan.

IMO it be best for them to lock classroom doors and wait for the cavalry...

Tired over used cliche isn't even relevant here.
What I am proposing is an acceptable risk, giving the adult(s) a chance to fight back against a shitbrick.  Police cannot be everywhere nor can they be counted on being there in the nick of time when seconds count.

By saying that they should hunker down and just wait is nothing more than creating a target rich environment and is currently the status quo.
Face it, gun free zones are a failure, were designed to be a failure all in the name of illusionary safety.  Instead of feeling safe actually give the tools that will enable being safe.
