^^This is the kind of ruling that lets people who shouldn't publicly carry concealed or other wise ruin it for the rest of US..
Any time you pull that pistol out and shoot someone, you can figure on the legal fees and lawsuits bankrupting you and more than likely prison time will be the outcome, even a justified shot is going to cost you $150,000. in legal fees.
Most people in these everybody can carry hillbilly States haven't got squat anyway...so their legal fees become a taxpayer burden..
I think getting a permit, taking the class and test, doing the range test proving you can handle the weapon, you can fire on target and not shoot yourself or a bystander is a good thing.

^^ there’s rather cheap insurance for this situation and if you choose to carry and don’t have insurance then like you, you’re a dumbass. Mine costs me less than $200 a year for me and Mrs. SB. As far as jail time? As the old saying goes “I’d rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6”
Minnesota requires classes and there are a myriad of instructors, from dopes that have no clue but manage to get the certification to what I used, an ex law enforcement guy turned security expert.
