The Bouncers work on a contract,they pay there own soc.sec,and fed and state taxes.
I use to work on a Contract,but received no benifets,I paid my own taxes,health ins.ect.I know a lot of people who work on a contract.

Geo stated the settlement was paid by the dram shop policy. If that was the case the bouncer was paid a settlement because he was injured as a result of a peril that policy covered. The same thing would pertain to workers who are employed by a temperary service company. They work for the payrolling company doing services at other places of employment. If injured at those other places of employment they do not have benefits from that place of business, but have to go back to the payrolling company.

I know about this story first hand since I've actually read all the legal documents and Nordstrom was not contract labor or temporary help. He worked as a bouncer for 5 years and never received a W2 or a 1099 in all the years he worked there. And when he was injured at work Fjelsted hung him out to dry to save his own neck.
I'd like to hear what Fjelsted has to say about any of this, but, I'm pretty sure he'd just lie unless you hired a lawyer and forced him to tell the truth.

I talked to Nordstrom this afternoon and told him what Fjelsted had to say about him on freeborncounty.com

He said he'll drop off all the legal documents first part of next week so I can scan them and put them online and then people can make up their own mind about who's lying. After I get them maybe I should forward a copy to the state and to the IRS then we'll see how anxious the SOB owner is to start slinging mud.

I find this entire thread insulting and tasteless, have a little respect for some of us older people here. No sense to this at all. If you people are going to comment on Mr Fjelstad then by George, stick to his politics. If you cannot do that go find a low life site that welcomes you and your insults.
