Sick of it and many others including me with agree to the above statements. Tony Trow is interesting to talk to but, extremely unpredictable, he goes from one side to the other constantly. Not the guy to have in any office making any type of decisions for our future.

Ask Geo about his experience with Trow...it's very telling.

Anyone know anything about Walgreens wanting the corner of the Farmland property for a new drug store with a driveup window. I was told that the city wasn't interested because it would distroy the potential the property has.
I would agree that it is a wonderful property with lost of potential, but if it is true, why would anyone send Walgreens away and invite in a Water Park? If you really want the Water Park, why can't both exist on the property?

Back to BobDole's challange of coming up with some people who would be good in local office, I was impressed with Tony Samudio a few years back. He didn't have a great deal of backing when he ran against Doorman but in visiting with him I found him to have a good grasp of the issues and compassion!

Willie it is not just the Farmland property the city wants some one to develop. Hell if you got a buck you can buy anything from an old High School, to an old Bank, or even the tallest building in town wouldn't be much more than a buck fifty. If you don't have a buck they might even loan it to ya. Economic development in old Albert Lea, aint it grand.

why am I not surprised that albert lea, a city struggling to get any substantial development rolling, would tell Walgreens no thanks. That is like handing a starving man a hamburger and he says no thanks, I would rather have a new york strip steak. And you wonder why this area is so far behind the times?

Those are buzz words for----> they want to pick and choose who grows and who doesn't.

O my god, someone here didnt actually say that Tony Trow would be a good politician did they? Only if you want the same thing you got know, dishonesty and the same cronies running the place. Trow is worse than what we got. Want to take a step backwards? Elect Tony Trow. Even more people will be left out of the process. He should have stayed where ever it is he was before moving back, the world is a less desirable place with Tony Trow in it.

I've been told Larson Manufacturing has opened a distribution center in Job, Inc. next to Universal Tires. Small operation yet, mostly shipping doors to Menards and Home Depot. By the June, they will be employing 35-40 people. I can't possibly believe Pam had anything to do with this, but....
Care to comment on this, Pam. I know the city officials have been saying they had a couple things in the works.
