I'm led to believe that this information is true. I had made reference to this in a thread a couple months ago (Tribune forum), in which shortly after, Mr. Bishop called me personally and had words with me.

I'll leave it at that.

I remember Kevin Bishop calling the Tribune every time we printed a letter that spoke negatively of Pam.

LOL@ Dustin. Are you kidding me? Never mind, I am sure you are not. Do you think the fact that he called to complain changed in anyway how a story was printed after that?

No sir, I don't believe it did. I was the one who would type up (and proofread) the letters to the editor (or scan them, or clean up the ones that were e-mailed, etc.). As far as I remember, with the exception of a few grammatical and spelling errors, the letters ran the way were submitted.

Disclaimer: I had nothing to do with the decision to edit any letters due to length or content. I typed what was submitted.

Dustin, I didnt mean letters to the editor, I meant did it change the way the reporters treated jobs Inc. Like were they told not to be so critical, things like that. By the way, you better watch what you say in here, you may get labeled as one of the obsessed minority.  :D

If memory serves me right ( and I believe it does) Kevin Bishop worked for the Tribune when they first moved here.
