Our govt has gone over the top with recklessness. Look how many different governmental agencies we now have just in law enforcement. They have pissing matches and try to get one over on the other. Our governing body does it across the board. They have lost focus that they are there for US. They have made it about them. EXISTENCE is top priority. Now they are flaunting it on a world scale. How pathedic. Our govt speak of unrest in other countries, while they practice the same thing right here. We are becoming the laughing stock of the world. 
Those wind turbines are probably a bigger tourist attraction than you think. You don't personally get anything out of it so you are against it. I still look at them in awe.

Technology on alternative energy is making advances, like it or not. Would the subsidies dry up before the oil subsidies do? If so, WHY?

Nixon was Commander in Chief during my military years, he's the one who sold US out. he probably got another 25,000 of US
killed and countless wounded and damaged for life.
All because he undermined the Paris peace talks for his own political ambition.
Nixon was Eisenhower's VP they got US into that quagmire, why is it Republican's always want to do that empire building.
So Nixon got US in and then sold US out!
