Paying dues isn't extortion.  Do you think paying your phone bill or homeowners insurance is extortion also?

It is if you don't have a choice.

Paying a phone bill or auto insurance isn't because there is a choice.  Utility bills...usually not so much. :(

Wrong, Home owners insurance is a must if you have a mortgage. You also brought up (SQUIRREL) auto insurance. It is against the law to drive a car without.

While I believe and would defend a persons right to protest against the government (whether Fedral, State, or Local), it should be done at a government or public place, not in front of a private residence in a neighborhood whether it was the right house or not.  There is a proper place for such protest.

I have a choice to pay my phone bill or home owners ins.

Employees have a choice when they vote to have union representation, people applying for work have a choice of whether they want to apply at those places or the ones that are non-union.  Seems like there's lots of choices, you just don't like certain ones.

QUOTE
Are you actually comparing Union dues to a business expense??? Wow, you are brainwashed

You started a thread repeating a lie that Republicans told you, now you're repeating slogans again (RTW) that the Republicans told you.  But you're calling other people brainwashed?

I'm the one who told you the Republicans lied to you about whose house that was, and you still won't admit you're wrong.  If you want to talk about brainwashed, time to look in the mirror, buttercup.
QUOTE
Again I ask you, if the union is so wonderful, why are dues forced?

When you join an organization there is overhead involved, the Chamber of Commerce was one example in the photo I posted.  But that's typically a Republican organization, so I'm sure you'll defend them requiring members to pay dues.  Go ahead and start telling your customers they can choose which bills to pay, and you still HAVE to provide the service.

Want to prove me wrong, practice what you preach, make your invoices optional for services you've already provided and let us know how you do.   :;):

No, nobody tells what to think, I do that for myself very well thankyou😊 it's just not that hard to figure out. Being forced to pay someone to have a job is coercion.

Invoices? It's quite simple, no pay, no work.

Meanwhile, as the dog-eat-doggers are busy chewing on the misfortune of others, these same people enjoy freely the benefits of the hard work of others who put community ahead of personal gain---clean air/water, infrastructure, recreation facilities, health centers, safe food, etc.

How long would the rabid dog eating populace last in a TRUE dog-eat-dog society? Jungle mentallity, subsidized by community minded folks, is a hollow shell.

True herd mentality.

There is nothing wrong with this thinking but myself and and many others choose to be a bit more independent, to not live like sheep.

The unions had their time, many years ago. OSHA and wage laws have ensured a safe work place and a minimum wage. If one thinks their is a hazard at their place of work they can call OSHA. If they're not happy with minimum wage(and unless you're fresh out of high school you're making more) they're free to pursue other avenues of work.

But I can't figure out why I would have someone negotiate for me when I'm perfectly able to do it myself.

^In the words of Benjamin Franklin "We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately." ~

When your Republican ( Corporate Stooges ) talk about deregulation what do you think they’re talking about?
They’d take away everything labor has gain with a stoke of pen in a New York minute! It’s happening today on a state level, you and the other tards cheer them on, oblivious to the fact it’ll actually hurt you too in the long run!

Minimum wage, that’s already on their agenda, several prominent Republicans have called for it’s elimination!
