Obama names Susan Rice as national security adviser despite Benghazi controversy

Published June 05, 2013

FoxNews.com

President Obama named Susan Rice as his national security adviser on Wednesday, despite persistent criticism from Republicans over her initial account of the Benghazi terror attack.

Obama, speaking in the Rose Garden, called Rice a "tireless advocate" for advancing America's interests.

"She is at once passionate and pragmatic," Obama said.

Rice will replace Tom Donilon, who is resigning from the post. Rice, the current U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, does not need Senate confirmation for the job.

Supposed innocents at Gitmo...faulty 911 commission... CIA destroys evidence...water boarding...frack sand mining risks...oil drilling dangers...poor forgotten 99%...etc etc
Is there anything in your mind that is not a conspiracy?
You know they say the more people involved..the less likely its a conspiracy :dunno:

There ARE innocents in Guantanamo. The 911 Commission was more than just "faulty" and even some of the commissioners themselves have said that their investigation was faulty. They've said the government was withholding information, evidence and trying to block certain things they tried to investigate.
The CIA DID destroy tapes, that's even been mentioned in MSM. The CIA has admitted to it. The commission asked for these video tapes and instead of handing them over THEY DESTROYED THEM.

Frack sand mining? When have I ever said frack sand mining is a "conspiracy"? I have said many times that fracking for natural gas is stupid and dangerous. I showed plenty of instances why also. And since this country very, very soon is going to be facing some pretty devastating troubles because of water shortages, then endangering the good water we do still have IS STUPID. It's more than stupid. There's not even a word to describe it.
Our children and grandchildren have to deal with the messes we leave them, and THAT should be unacceptable to pretty much everyone.
There are areas in the country that people get "warnings" about going outside at certain times because the air quality is so bad. And we just accept that? "Oh well, that's life"? Bullshiit. Why be complacent about these sorts of things? We The People need to pull our heads out of our collective asses.

While Egypt goes up like a box of kleenex at a sinus convention, our Secretary of State goes boating in Nantucket Sound.  What is it with Kerry and boats anyway?  No one cared at the State Department that our  biggest ally in the muslim world has nearly gone into civil war.  Of course, the Bambino Connection to the Brotherhood doesn't want to talk about it.  He had secret meetings with them while Mubarouk was still in power.  Now we come to find out that perhaps the reason for the long delay before we went into Benghazi was to give President Morsi time to get his "brothers" out of Libya.

It's now possible that an “Egyptian cell” who are supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood were involved in the attack on the Embassy.

The "Don't shoot, Dr. Morsi sent us" video has now gone viral.

This is starting to get downright sickening.  This first video has been removed from youtube.  This web page is still up.

During the 1980s, more than 75 right-wing extremists were prosecuted in the United States for acts of terrorism..

Timothy McVeigh, which killed 168 people in Oklahoma..

Eric Rudolph carried out a series of terrorist attacks between 1996 and 1998 including the Centennial Olympic Park bombing which claimed 2 lives and injured 111..

The success of law enforcement in capturing and preventing terrorists has been credited to their efforts to investigate terrorists before they turned to violence..
