So it's ok to invade someone's privacy, to harass and terrorize, all in the name of the union. These protests, be it the right house or not, I don't really give a sh!t, are a big reason I loath unions.

It's heavy-handed and wrong for Wisconsin to inject government into these private contractual relationships that have worked well for both workers and private companies for decades.
What we are witnessing in Wisconsin is the Republican true nature to attack the working class while enriching the upper 1% at the expense of economic viability.
In the years to come Wisconsin shall take it’s place alongside other red state as a low wage economic disaster depending on food stamps and welfare to support it low wage populace.

The Republican platform is a disaster for Capitalism!

Be specific. There are three kinds of Capitalism: Free-market, well-regulated and crony.

By their own actions, Republicans (and a lot of Democrats) do not care about long-term economic growth, or losses thereto in the long term. Only short-term profits matter. Two very different approaches.

One is taking less from those who've earned it moving the line closer to a fair tax system than Minnesota. Hopefully the deficit this has created will lead to major cuts to non-essential wants or needs. Easier to cut the fat from Government when you have less then it is when you are flush like Minnesota. I look at Walker's strategy as more of a long term solution in reducing the size of Government and a retooling needs to occur to accomplish this. Imo.

The other doesn't look at what we can do without, but feels it's the governments duty to take more from some people to feed their spending addictions.

You should note that Wisconsin has a Moody's rating on their GO bonds of Aa2 vs Minnesota's Aa1. As recently as November 2014 they changed the outlook from Stable to Positive. Not as big of a divide as the picture above would lead you to believe. They also go onto state the reason for the change is due to an improved budget trend and limited pressure from pensions. Not to mention that Wisconsin has experienced their strongest Tax Collections since 2006 despite the tax cuts.

Each side can make a strong argument why one is better than the other. In my opinion, the citizens always win when the government operates with less and the people keep more of what they've earned. When it comes to who can manage money better, I will take the citizens over their government any day. Call me naive and I would probably say the same of you if you placed your trust more in the government as the liberals here lead everyone to believe.

The reason our incomes are higher in Minnesota vs. Wisconsin? Do the libs really feel the need to give credit to the government? You guys should learn to take more credit for yourselves and give credit where credit is due. Minnesotans have always been an above average people.
