I should point out that Roger Bok was the person that noticed the water machines back in 2007. I had no idea they were doing it until Roger caught it in the claims. He didn't want me to say it came from him because he thought people wouldn't care back then.

Turns out nobody cared either way.

Do you ever wonder how different this town could be with a healthy media instead of a Chamber of Commerce whore?

How do you give government the incentive to save?

You do it like David Lee Roth would.

They the (government workers) get a cut of the savings You be AMAZED at the cuttings that can be made. If instead of spending $24,000 thousand every few years for Culligan water we GIVE the workers $6000 to be split among them every few years to do without it!

I miss old Roger Bok. I know he would show boat at the council meetings but he was good humor for this town.

Look at the way things have turned out. You had Mr. & Mrs. Moan in bed with the city manager. You had shifty behind the scenes goings on left and right. The surreptitious diversion of funds to fund the "finance" managers little project. The ill conceived and implemented credit card debacle.

Just to name a couple.

Anybody who has been following along knows there was more than that as well.

The way I see it he was right. None of the people at the council meetings were/are worthy of any decent persons respect anyway.

I think he kept things down to earth. IMO

He pointed out how they couldn't handle some of the little simple things.

Which should give anyone pause about their ability to handle bigger things.

You know like how to set up a credit card system. . . or use the city's bonding capacity to give your friend the finance manager and her hubby over a million dollars to play around with. lol
