Has anyone noticed the large number of Culligan water machines up there at City Hall? If you go over the claims for the City we're paying Culligan water $100's of dollars a month. One month the bill was over $500
This really makes me wonder...
Should we be drinking out of the tap?
Is the tap water good enough for us, but they're somehow above drinking tap water?
Isn't the City in the business of selling water, not buying it?

That is a very good question. I would like to know the answer. Who would be the best person to ask?

They don't drink out of the tap or from the drinking fountains at city hall because they all came out of the dumpster.

If they're worried about chlorine, it be much cheaper to install a filter. But they don't care. Why should they? They're spending your money, not theirs.

Wouldnt one of those kinetico brand filter systems be able to filter the entire system in the city hall? Plus no salt of any other chemicals to have to purchase.

Well, the fundamental problem lies in the fact that no one in government is rewarded for savings of this type. There's no incentive to save.
