I'm new here and I enjoy the wildlife that post here but for the sake of maintaining at least the appearance of intellect do me just one favor.
Stop using "your" when you mean "you're"
I know I did it once but, what the hell minnow it's as though you don't even understand that there is a difference.

It drives me crazy when I hear ppl say"member when we used to....."( rather than Remember when) my children said that when they were tots and yet more and more frequently, I hear adults say it. Another one is "He says to me and then I says to him"( I have heard educators do this!!!!)

I see that your posting this mainly because of minnow, but I do it also. I'll gladly correct this in the future in my posts if someone will explain the difference, I never was any good at gramar.
As for minnow, he does it on purpose, so theirs no hope their. In fact, he'll probably do it even worse now that he knows it bothers you.

This is a forum .. not an english class. Unless we truely cannot understand what the person is saying or meaning ... who really cares?
FYI ....
Your means "your house, your opinions, your car"
You're means *You are* > "You're in a house, You're driving a car, You're opinionated"

You're right Spidey, this is a forum and like most forums it involves the use of language. You may not like it but, people will make assumptions about your intelligence based upon the words you use. One would hope that as intelligent as minnow seems to think he is he would take care to use correct english. If minnow and others can't even master third grade language skills how can I be expected to think that anything else they say is of any value. I know I make the mistake and if I do point it out but, I make good efforts to use the language correctly.
Also, Irisheyes there's, there, their and they're are not interchangable. Red marks all over your paper. Shame.

The correct spelling is: interchangeable
You can't be serious about minnow. I can't even remember the last time I responded to one of his posts ... he's more for entertainment then to be taken seriously.
You will find many errors in grammar and spelling in this forum. Not because all of us haven't mastered the third grade, but many times people are short on time and they just mess up once in a while trying to get their point across in a hurry.
Life is way too short to sweat the little things.

I always get such a kick out of this one. Some of the most brilliant people I have ever met can't spell for crap. English teachers, in particular, are frustrated writers, who were never quite good enough or strong enough to go out on their own to begin with. You have heard the old saying "Those who can do, those who can't teach" Of all the majors in college teaching was the one for the BONE HEADS. And I got a charge out of the parents who proclaimed that their little angel got all A's. Let me guess? They were in education?

I totally get the misspelling from writing in haste, I do. But, come on. Your....you're. They are two different words!!!
I'm not sweating anything here. I just mispelled interchangeable. I'm not perfect but, the little things need more attention now days. Research some of todays sociological studies into the "dumbing down" of america. Your, You're....there, their who cares? People used to care about that sort of thing but, today hey you're totally screwing up the language but I recon we get wacha mean. DUH Were all goin down to the movie pictures show on hour bikes today. There hold'n hour seats down their fo us two.
Yeah that really helps people take you seriously when you sound like a three year old. If you didn't pick up these simple language skills in school then what else did you miss.
