Fresno, your first post on this subject is the kind that should be deleted. I could still edit it, but I wont. If the other moderators dont want to listen to the majority of the people here, and want to let it continue this way, thats fine by me.

Hoosier and Liberal, I think there is a happy medium here.
I myself have slowed my participation in this forum mainly due to the virtual 'free-for-all' that goes on here. This forum is one of the few that I have come across that allows posts from unregistered users, because of the nature of abuse brought about by such ability. Now that abuse is more the norm than the exception.
My suggestion? Easy, you can simply modify this forum so that you do not need to be registered to view it, but must register to post to it. Unless things have changed, when I registered here it took all of 30 seconds and it was done, there was no verification or waiting for moderator approval, just a few questions and an e-mail address. It's not that difficult, and it keeps people to at least post consistently using the same name, and at the same time eliminates all the posting under other users nicks.
Liberal, while everyone has the right to speak at the board meetings, I still believe that they also have to identify themselves and that you can not speak from the shadows giving someone else's name. While no one is asking for a person to identify themselves here, at least a consistent user name would put more things together. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to tell you how to run your forum, but I'm just offering a simple solution to try and make this a better place to visit.

cpu_slave brings up a good point. I was really surprised to see that I didn't have to be registered to post, too. It's just good BB manners to do so.

Damn, seems to be a small royal rumble floating from topic to topic around here.
