I guess a woman ain't to screw around eh?

Lordy..lordy...check it from the Tribune:

A Glenville man was charged Wednesday with 3rd degree assault and is accused of beating his wife several times during a 30-hour ordeal in which he hit her head against the ground, punched her in the stomach until she vomited, and encouraged his ex-wife's 16-year-old son to stomp and kick the woman, leading to a broken shoulder.

The man also allegedly kicked her out of the house into the cold without a coat, and attempted to get her to sign over the title of her car.

Charles Lowell Christianson, 58, is being held on $25,000 bail without conditions except that he not have contact with the victim and $10,000 with other conditions. He has also been charged with aiding and abetting 3rd degree assault. The juvenile was charged with the same crimes Tuesday, and taken into custody by Mower County authorities for probation violation. Authorities said the woman is out of the hospital.

Christianson has been accused of beating his wife two other times in the last year. On Feb. 9 he was arrested for assault but charges were dropped after a plea agreement in which Christianson pled guilty to a DWI. On July 19 he was detained by authorities in another incident but the county attorney's office declined to prosecute. Speaking in general terms, County Attorney Craig Nelson said some cases aren't prosecuted because there's not enough evidence.

On Jan. 5 the violence started in the afternoon after Christianson accused the victim of having a "smart mouth" when she spoke to him, according to the criminal complaint. He hit her mouth, and later taunted her to speak by calling her "bitch," "whore," and "slut," the victim told deputies.

He then threw her to the ground and banged her head against the ground, pulling out some hair. He told the 16-year-old son of his ex-wife to "help her up" intending for the boy to kick her, the victim said. He did, and at one point stomped on the woman's shoulders which is possibly when her collarbone and other bones in her shoulder were broken, the victim said.

Later on that day, the two tried to force her to sign over her paycheck to them, eventually sticking a pen in her mouth because she was too injured to write otherwise, she said. She told deputies that Christianson then began punching her in the stomach. When she threw up he became enraged and hit her even harder, she said.

After the beating stopped, the victim fell asleep.

When the two woke her up at noon the next day, she pleaded that she be brought to the hospital. Christianson forced her out of bed, and told her to sign the title of her car over to the 16-year-old, because he had just sold it to him.

She refused and Christianson continued to hit her and throw her around. At about 8 p.m. he threw her out of the house into the cold without a coat.

The woman was helped by neighbors.

When deputies interviewed Christianson, he said the 16-year-old and the victim fight like "girlfriend and boyfriend," and that he has done all he can to stop the fighting. He denied any involvement in the victim's injuries.

The 16-year-old told authorities Christianson caused the injuries. He tried to help the victim at times, he said, adding she deserved the beating at times for instigating the fight with Christianson.

Christianson's charges carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.

The guy was arrested tuesday night, charged on wednesday and was out by thursday afternoon.

I wonder how Craig Nelson sleeps at night knowing he lets criminals walk the streets just so he can stock the jail with drunks and drug adddicts.  That little runt of a county attorney should be thrown out of office, he isn't capable of prosecuting anything other than drunk driving or a drug possession charge (the two easiest and cheapest cases you can prosecute) anything harder than possesion or DWI and he plea bargains it away to nothing so he can avoid giong to court where he might have to face a real attorney.

What do you think the stupid SOB will plea bargain this down to?

Yep, about 70% of all county inmates are OWI or drug cases.

The real criminals get a break. Kill someone with a knife on the street outside and bar and get 8 years...a third off for good time. Bash someones skull in..do a couple years and walk. Your buddy walks right away.

That's how that girl was abducted and killed a month or so back. We let out career criminals(really mean, bad guys)to make room for Geo's drug war victims.

I also wonder what our county attorney was thinking. The last time this guy beat his wife, Nelson drops those charges if the guy will plead guilty to DWI. Justice for this man is not a fine or jail time, in my opinion we find two or three of the biggest, baddest cops in all of Freeborn county and let just beat the $hit out of the guy for thirty hours. Then stick a pen in the piece of $hits mouth and make him sign over everything he has to his wife. Thats justice my friends.   :D

How about men though. Men need a place to go for help too.

Many woman play psychological mind games with men, play with them, manipulate them, instigate. And, finally, when the man breaks, it's always ALL his fault. Women are perfectly capable of lying and cheating and men can't cry and have no way to deal with that kind of pain in a public way.

Here's a true tale that happened lately. Woman finally kicks out loser of a husband after many years of marriage. He was physically and mentally abusive to the entire family, she goes to the Crime VCC gets an OFP (order for protection, judge signs it, he(Hubby) goes to jail for 2-3 days. Gets out, calls the house multiple times leaving messages on her answering machine, shows up at her door, she calls LEC, he gets arrested, 2 days later, in instant replay, hubby in jail again. Next day, deputy calls the wife and says where can I find .....,your husband so that I can serve him these papers???? It was the first time she laughed throughout all of this, her reply "Gee, did you think to look in your Building???"
