^^Driving truck, not working in some refrigerated hellhole.
The plant was old as hell and the company probably figured the fire was a blessing, they probably didn't rebuild because they were in a closed shop state.

You have the answer for everything don't you. Seems to me we had a state of the art hog kill. How many millions did that cost? Remember, one persons hell hole is another persons bread and butter. Get off your pedestal.

^^about 6 months total, mostly line work, I very quickly realized that a lifetime of no mental stimulation, repetiticious work and sh!t pay would lead to ending up as an alcoholic moron.
What you tried to accomplish there?
You were an employee, nothing more, when the owners pulled the plug it was time to find another job, end of story.
Accomplish? Do you think you owned the business.
