QUOTE ^^^and as more people switch to chicken, the price for it will rise. I'm thinking of having a few bunnies in the backyard, the city says I can only have "pets" I predict Fluffy will die of self inflicted injuries. I reckon it already has driven up the price. I stock up the freezer when chicken breast and thighs are on sale at Nelson's and HyVee for $0.99/lb. I load up on the giant pork loins when they are under $2.00/lb. It usually lasts until the next time it's on sale for those prices. I load up on everything when it's on sale. I find the prices of everything shocking though at the usual prices. The suckiest part of that is I'm sure some of the meat I buy is from big corporate farms. I prefer buying from small local locker plants, unfortunately I could never afford to buy all my meat there. Produce is so expensive we could never become vegetarian (besides we love meat), and I just moved from the biggest yard ever, to absolutely no yard, so no garden, no canning. Aww, poor Fluffy! When I was a kid,in Blooming Prairie, my best friend's father raised rabbits in his back yard, butchered and sold them. I'm pretty sure that's not legal anymore. If you do decide to raise rabbits I will gladly "donate" money to replace a rabbit that died of self-inflicted wounds, and I like you SO much, that I will even take the dead one off your hands so you don't have to deal with the burial. Did you watch that documentary "Farmageddon" yet? It's pretty insane what is happening to people on small nice farms. Why do you think those things are occurring? And now several states have made it illegal to film the abuses and filth of industrial farms. I'd like to see the USDA go in and raid some of these big corporate farms like they have smaller ones. It will never happen.

^^I'm lucky living in the cities, in the summer I go to the farmers market in Mpls where a 20 dollar bill can buy veggies for all week. Then to stretch the dollar more I go to the Asian markets. Food there is fresh and of superior quality to the grocery chains.
Nothing like the Hmong version of chittlin's. Yummy!

First we had Bill Clinton, and at the end of his second term we said the next president will be better. But then we got George Bush, and at the end of his second term we said the next president has got to be better? Wrong we got Barrak Obama, and as we approach the end of his second term we are wondering what now. Well I know one thing is that the last thing we need is another Clinton in office, or another Bush for that matter. We will either elect another idiot who will drag this country down even further or hopefully someone who can fix things (believe me I have no idea who that could be). I feel sorry for that president because to fix thing he will make himself (or herself) so unpopular that they will only serve one term in office, but fifty years down the road they will be remembered as a good president.

None of the die-hard liberals on the board will come on and openly defend Hillary, even though we all know full well they'd vote for her in a heartbeat. Now that's truly pathetic.

Heck (ll) the die hard liberals don't even come on here much to defend our liar in chief much anymore. You have to read the local letters to the editor to get a nut jobs l-winger perspective from W.T.

It can't possibly get any worse than the current resident law breaker of the White House.

No, the liberals just laugh at you kooks. As a group things are pretty good for us liberals, how are things working out for you kooks?
As far as defending our future president we have nothing to worry about.

Let me guess, she's responsible for some terrible conspiracy theory and anyone who can't see that would have to be crazy?
Here's a good article on what's wrong with you.
