Hmmm, where is this understanding that the founding of this country is based on the socialistic teachings of the church?
Charity is a personal christian act, and it fails to be a christian act when it is forced upon others through legislation and enforced by the treat of the barrel.

I have an idea! Why dont the 50% that pay NO taxes start paying their fair share. Then we all would be happy or upset that way you please everyone at once.

Straw man argue much? At what point in any of the above was mandatory charity mentioned?

Seperation of church & state----Marissa Mayer gives "personal" charities, laying claim to christianity. Then uses the "state" to enrich herself thru immoral deeds.
Also charity is not a christian invention.
