So how's that for irony? The $50 limit in place in case of system failure was temporarily suspended due to system failure.

Is everyone that needs our help a "welfare pig"? Or only those that we don't like the way they look?

The gov. Says Walmart has to pay for this. We all know who'll pay for this, Walmart will just bump their prices.

Beginning in November them bad republicans are going to slash SNAP benefits.
Back in September, House republicans pushed through a bill that cut billions of dollars from the food assistance program. (I'm using a N.Y. Times articles for effect. )
QUOTE House Republicans narrowly pushed through a bill on Thursday that slashes billions of dollars from the food stamp program, over the objections of Democrats and a veto threat from President Obama.
Republican leaders, under pressure from Tea Party-backed conservatives, said the bill was needed because the food stamp program, which costs nearly $80 billion a year, had grown out of control. They said the program had expanded even as jobless rates had declined with the easing recession.
“This bill eliminates loopholes, ensures work requirements, and puts us on a fiscally responsible path”said Representative Marlin Stutzman, Republican of Indiana.
It will equate to a $36/month cut and force able bodied adults to find a job or to enroll in a work-training program in order to receive benefits.
