I am now having my attorney enforce a restaining order through the court using the tape as evindence.

If it was Gabe or any official elected or otherwise you should bring the tape to their next meeting. I am sure you will also have to bring your own tv and vcr. You should play it at the meeting, that way it is on record and public, and ask that that person either resign for their actions or be removed by their supervisior. The main thing is to get it out so people know what we are dealing with here.

How did he threaten you? Not that this isn't bad enough, but if the council can let Gabe get away with pitching a hissy fit and smashing Belshan's tape recorder I don't see them disciplining this person much.
