People posting on this forum are a small percentage of people.This is a discussion forum.
However in coffee shops around the county and in the city the same veiws are made in discussion. Your only problem with the forum your are seeing our complaints.
You sir are a public servant, you will be scrutinized, it comes with the job.
I have never resorted to name calling such as you have.
Call you? After meeting you, I doubt that we could ever have any conversation that wouldn't bore me to death.
If you think I was intemidated, I wasn't
I would feel fortunate if you never graced me with your presence again.

I would have said this to his face but he was all in my face in my place of business if he ever does it again I will call the police, ( on a personal note keep your mouth closed stupid ass or I will disclose your identity with a video tape you are a stupid individual walking into a high tech business where everything is recorded). You should see yourself on tape it is funny.

If it was Gabe or any official elected or otherwise you should bring the tape to their next meeting. I am sure you will also have to bring your own tv and vcr. You should play it at the meeting, that way it is on record and public, and ask that that person either resign for their actions or be removed by their supervisior. The main thing is to get it out so people know what we are dealing with here.

How did he threaten you? Not that this isn't bad enough, but if the council can let Gabe get away with pitching a hissy fit and smashing Belshan's tape recorder I don't see them disciplining this person much.

I never said it was Gabe, I just mentioned the fact that he got away with acting like a spoiled brat so WHOEVER came into Geo's store probably wouldn't even get a slap on the wrist from the council.

I am not going to name him till I have to, this is my ace in the hole. Just let him stir in his stupidity. That's why I sat in my chair so the camera could get a good shot of him and I did the zoom thing and increase the volume so I was getting it all on tape.

So Geo, did this person who had the tirade in your store just spout off about you and the BBS? Or were other ppl mentioned during their out-burst?On a side note, if this were a city official, pretty stupid of them to go off like that, seems to me that the questioning of their authority is not pleasing to them, after all who are we to question them?

I would say it would probly be wise for the county to drop Rule 19 at this time and settle out of court on the lawsuit.I am not involved with the law suite, just my opinion.

So many liars in AL I've invested in a cigarette pack sized digi camcorder from Sony, that I carry with at all times. It's a life saver because the camera never lies. It's odd...in Mason City and Austin I don't really feel the need to carry my little friend. Something about AL makes people think they can get away with pulling crap on each other. It's strange to say the least.

BeBack, I can confirm that indeed he does have survielance cameras with audio in his store. He showed me which camera was the one that "caught" the episode yesterday.

Guest, this I do know to be diffently true, I know who it was, where in his store it happened, and the time it happened. You see, surveilance tapes record the date and time also. I want to take this public, this will be explosive when it does. However, I have to respect the fact that GEO wants this not to be let out at this time.

Has anyone seen this tape? Can anyone verify anything he has said? You people will believe anything you read.
If you're going to start a rumor at least make it a good one. Something like Sparks and Fjelsted being gay lovers. That would be a good one to start and since you people require no proof it should be easy to get that one started.

BeBack what the hell are you talking about? It's not the point of what good a restraining order would do. The point is calling Geo's bluff....which I did....and was correct. If the tape exists (which I highly doubt), I can almost guarantee you that it's not as bad as Geo makes it out to be. Just like every fishing story....the fish is never as big as the teller's tale.

Nobody involved with the lawsuit has ever asked you for a transcript let alone hounded you for one.
Besides, how would this incident have anything to do with a lawsuit over a rule of procedure at county commissioner meetings?

You're right Geo, I wasn't there. So, if it did happen, you have to protect yourself...which is why I originally asked if you were going to get a restraining order. However, I can't imagine a war hero like you being intimidated by much....but if you are...get a restraining order. If the "mad man" comes anywhere near you or contacts you in any way, he goes to jail.

The original posting of this thread was to actually direct my first post to this person to let him know my thoughts concerning his visit. To inform him of my intentions as when he left making his threat saying I read the forum and I will be watching.

Do you really believe that? Their have been plenty of times that someone has violated a restraining order, and doesn't go to jail, even when caught in the act! I think if the order happens to be against someone with a combination of money & power, the chances of enforcement are slim.

Geo. you are not listed on the law suite against the county. To my knowledge you haven't gone after anyone personally, but have gone after stupid actions some people have been involved in. So what was this guys bitch? I think you are taking the heat for some of the others who post regularly on this forum because you are convienent to get at.
