Bush says that the unemployment rate dropped by a point this past month. He fails to tell us that it is because 300,000 people just plain gave up on getting a job, they dropped out of the system, Bush knows this but he thinks the American people are to stupid to figure it out. Only 1000 new jobs created last month nation wide.

First time in over 60 years that the U.S. has lost jobs for three consecutive years, 2001, 2002, 2003. Wow, look at that, how could it be the only three years Bush the lier has been president?

This past week he was going around to schools telling Americans how his "No child left behind" policy is good legislation and working, come to find out 9 out of 10 school supers think its a failure and is underfunded. More lies, when will it end this guy?

One more thing, Dick Cheney is about to be charged with bribeing government officials over seas to get Haliburton contracts.

All you die hard conservatives must be so proud right now. Bush and his government make the Clinton era look like a minor traffic violation. Bush is corrupt and a lier, everyone sees but people blinded by partisan politics. At this point I would rather see Al Sharpton become president than Bush.

Sure unemployment has dropped.  Just like you said hoosier.  That's because of the ones that gave up, not to mention the ones that unemployment insurance ran out.  How else can they know the numbers except by the number of people they're paying insurance to.

Not very good right now, hoosier.  :(   I voted for Bush in 2000 and his dad before that.  There isn't such a thing as an honest politician anymore.  Hard to say who to vote for, but it's early.  Dean leads on the other end, but he's Bush's biggest asset.  The other day, when Dean was asked what he thought about common sex unions, his reply was "There's nothing wrong with common sex union, and I don't think it's a sin, otherwise why would God have made gays?"

Sorry hoosier, Sharpton's too far out there for me.  :p

LOL, o I agree with that about Sharpton Maddog, 100 percent, but its a choice between two evils, who is worse, Sharpton or Bush? Bush has lost his morale authority to govern by repeatedly lying to the American public. My point is, at this point, almost anyone sounds better to me than Bush. Think about it though, first time in 60 years of losing jobs three years in a row, that tells you something about Bush. But I suppose you conservatives will say that its still Bill Clintons fault?

I didnt vote for Bush senior, but I did at one point become a fan. That is until he got arrogant after desert storm, until he forgave a 6 billion dollar loan to Egypt and two weeks later refused to extend unemployment benifits to our own people suffering from his failed economic policy. The two Bush presidents are two of the biggest mistakes this country has ever made.

1000 new jobs nation wide last month, what a disgrace, but hey, if you believe Bush everything is going just fine. And let me just say that if you believe Bush, I have some land I would like to sell you.   :D

I saw how many of the super's think "no child left behind" is a failure because it's underfunded.  But when have you ever heard a superintendant say that he wasn't underfunded?  It's just like what we've seen in town, with both referendum's passing, and a new high school.  They never think they have enough, they do worse and worse over time, and its always because they're not payed enough.

As for the die hard conservative's out their, which I am (not on every issue, but for the most part).  If Senator McCain would run again, or if Bob Dole would come out of retirement, I would gladly not vote for Bush.  But at this point, it's either Bush, or a dozen democrat's who are argueing about which one hate's Bush the most.

Just for the sake of accuracy, the 1000 jobs are NET new jobs in the last month.  As Hoosier says, 300,000 people gave up looking for jobs, that means 301,000 new jobs were created.

Bush is getting a lot of heat on the immigration initiative--BUT MOST OF IT IS FROM HIS OWN PARTY!  Not many Democrats criticisizing him on that issue.

Bush doesn't have a copyright on the "liar" issue--look at the flip-flops and "untruths" told by Dean (Iowa comments), Clark (didn't mention that he earned $800,000 as a lobbiest), Gephart (For/against/for/against NAFTA), Brown (convicted, and lost her seat), Sharpton (Tawana Brawley), Kerry (for/against the war), Kucinich (where's the tinfoil hat for THAT guy!).  ANY politician will have his own words dredged up and used against him, in or out of context.

It's fun to watch Democrats be Democrats--criticizing EACH OTHER, a "circular firing squad"! :D

As divided and disaffected as the country is (look at the red/blue map), this would be the time for a really charismatic leader to step forward--but it's too late for THIS election.

John McCain is even more of a hero out of the military. This man is something else. He's the only person in politics with enough courage to face truth and justice and attempt to do what is right. He's a true hero in every sense of the word and would make his general father proud.

Jim, 300,000 new jobs were indeed created but the original prediction was 900,000.  If my math serves me correctly that makes 2/3rds that never saw reality.  I voted for Bush and will probably again.  Whenever economics are focosed on it always amazes me how standard "turnarounds" take at least 8 years to cycle.  Anotherwords, we are living under Clintons economic outcomes.  Each voter not only needs to show up and vote an election day he/she needs to take responsiblity and do some homework with understanding of current events and outcomes so they can be as informed as possible.

Sorry but Mcstain is a treasonous backstabbin' crossdressin POS.
Any man that takes an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the US, then turns around and comes up with the Mcstain Frakenstein bill, and starts to limit free speech, all in the name of campaign reform, that just turned out to be the Incumbent Protection bill, is a traitor.

Any man that voted for that Rights raping PATRIOT ACT, and has given the enemy a win, is a traitor.

That POS would prefer that you and I were also disarmed, even in whats been happening with the "War on Terror", and his so called wet dream of gun show loopholes BS.

A Hero NO, hes nothing but a disgrace to the uniform he once wore, his grandfather would be ashamed.

Grinning Dragon don't be shy tell us how you really feel about McCain. I wouldn't disagree with you in person(because I think you'd snap my neck) but I can respect your opinion on his politcal positions you don't agree with.
I completely disagree with you about him being a traitor. The backstabbing. Well he is a politician so maybe. Crossdressing  ???
McCain has a purple heart, silver and bronze stars along with other commendations.  He was a prisoner of war for years. He's lived through hell on earth and should at least be respected for his service to this country. So I strongly disagree with him being a disgrace to the uniform he wore.
