An increased child tax credit (does nothing for me)

Standard deduction raised from 12K to 24K ( stlill does nothing for me except stimulate lil’ Abner’s spending at tax time.

I thought the low and middle class was getting nothing?

^^^^That 12K number is all about smoke and mirrors.
Trump is eliminating the personal exemption and increasing the standard.

we'll use my 2015 tax numbers, I'll divide for a single filer
1040A (2015) line 24 standard deduction ...7850
Exemptions  from from 6d line 26             ...4000
                                                      total   11850
These are 2015 numbers, these numbers are progressive meaning they increase
yearly, under the current tax system my numbers would exceed tRump's 12000 by 2018—the tax year his plan starts..( filing year 2019)

the catch 22 here is the debt, 1.5 trillion over a decade, divide by 300 million and it comes out to around 4500. or 450. per year so what
we see is a negative ($450.) plus interest.

Until we see the tax tables on the tRump plan we won't know anything, but if the 20% excise tax (consumer tax) makes the final bill it will wipe out any meager tax cut, the only people that profit from this are the billionaires that wrote it!

there's a common trait among you trumpanzees, you are all mathematically challenged...

Within the middle quintile, people earning $54,700 to $93,200 a year, 69.7 percent would see their taxes go up. But only about 8 percent of the very richest one-thousandth of Americans would see a tax hike.

^^ I like how all of a sudden you’re concerned about our debt going up yet Buster doubled ours over 8 years and got sh!t for growth.

The bill is not finished but pretty close. The Dow Jones climbs every week to new highs on anticipation of a robust economy. 5000 points in one year, 70 new highs this year. Construction is booming, so is retail.

I wish I could find a place that could give me simple to understand logistics of this plan.  Everything I find is put out by those opposed or those in favor of this tax plan.  I wanna know what someone in my income bracket can expect.  This is turning into the ACA more and more everyday.  A rushed POS only supported by one party... we're all screwed.... again....

After we screw up health care reform, let's take on the initiative of unscrewing the education system (gov't education)

As usual SB gives you Faux Nooze source.

I have to agree GIL, Congressional Procedure was circumvented by by Republican Party, no debate, no committee and a President pushing lies.

The final bill isn't available yet, the link is to congress.gov—you'll be able to read the actual bill, but it's still in flux and could change somewhat..

It's not simple or easy to understand, had the Republican's allowed debate we would have a lot of it explained to US on C-SPAN.

I believe we've been railroaded...

^^The final bill included a variety of provisions that were not discussed in prior hearings. debate was limited to 15 minutes on one of the most important pieces of legislation in years, this isn't the way a democracy runs, even these congressman admit they're voting for something they haven't read...to push through legislation of this magnitude just so trump and the republicans have a score in their first year is reckless.

no debate, no committee for the reading impaired!

we need to see this stuff debated on C-SPAN not sound bites from Fox or CNN...

Tell me great defender of all that's Republican, how does this thing double in pages in a matter of a week with no committee or debate?

we went from 500 to over a 1000 pages...

^^ I’m not a Senator nor a great defender of all things Republitard. I ask again, what procedures did they violate.

All that needs to happen now is for our President to sign the bill.

Looks like 2018 will be prosperous 👍
