I don’t believe your trucker story, you’d have been really young at that time, most truck lines had age restriction of 23 and preferred older drivers for insurance reasons.

For some reason you hate unions, unions are just working people looking for a fair shake.
Collective bargaining is what brought US out of the Great Depression, Capitalism doesn’t work without consumerism.
If we lived in the Ayn Rand world you propose the bread lines and soup kitchens would abound, slave labor scab wages and no jobs would be the sign of the times!
This would lead to an ever downward spiral, you’d find yourself unemployed eventually!
Next would come a total collapse of our society, so I consider the far right view a real danger to our survival.
I gave you my pick for President the independent from Vermont, he’ll never make it.

I'll be 55 next week, I was 25 at the time of the Hormel strike. I've crossed more picket lines than I can remember, including Yellow, UPS and Midwest Motor. All in service to customers. No matter what, the job gets done.
By the way, you're right, most places won't insure till you're 23 but I started in 1980, just months before I turned 20. This is back in the days where lots of things were "overlooked"  
Keep yelling "scab" dipsh!t, no one strikes anymore.
