Rafael Bienvenido Cruz

So Ted Cruz wants to be President, where’s the outcry now about birth certificates and citizenship
and questionable lineage?

what say you now right-wing kooks

If there's question of the legitimacy of his eligibility to be president then it should be brought up and discussed.
I see no problem questioning him about it.
But more importantly, I don't want him as my President.

Posted by alcitizens on Mar. 25 2015,4:49 pm
He's been to Harvard and is strictly on a book selling tour.. The poor radical right will flood the book stores to buy his ideology and make Ted Cruz millions of dollars, just like Sara Palin..
Posted by Expatriate on Mar. 25 2015,4:54 pm
I don't think he's doing anything wrong, his father wasn't a legal citizen of the US but his mother was, this gives him dual
citizenship, even though he was born and lived in Canada.

These guys raised such a woopdeedoo about Obama now that the shoe is on the other foot, they just wisecrack.

I doubt we’ll see the lunacy the Republican’s raised over Obama’s birth certificate, amazing how these so called conservatives spared no expense (our tax dollars) to try to discredit the man.

The only one so far to question the tea party wonder boy’s (Cruz) right to run is Donald Trump, another loony.

Or did Hormel put you back on the street because you couldn’t keep up when the union came back and the chain speed was increased?

I don’t believe your trucker story, you’d have been really young at that time, most truck lines had age restriction of 23 and preferred older drivers for insurance reasons.
No, you’re a fence jumper, hence all the union hate posts!

For some reason you hate unions, unions are just working people looking for a fair shake.

Collective bargaining is what brought US out of the Great Depression, Capitalism doesn’t work without consumerism.

If we lived in the Ayn Rand world you propose the bread lines and soup kitchens would abound, slave labor scab wages and no jobs would be the sign of the times!
This would lead to an ever downward spiral, you’d find yourself unemployed eventually!
Next would come a total collapse of our society, so I consider the far right view a real danger to our survival.

I gave you my pick for President the independent from Vermont, he’ll never make it.
Obviously you have a poor memory, look to the past to predict the future!

I'll be 55 next week, I was 25 at the time of the Hormel strike. I've crossed more picket lines than I can remember, including Yellow, UPS and Midwest Motor. All in service to customers. No matter what, the job gets done.

By the way, you're right, most places won't insure till you're 23 but I started in 1980, just months before I turned 20. This is back in the days where lots of things were "overlooked" :)

Ted Cruz announces he is running for President and again vicous attacks from the left.

What bothers me most about these attacks now is the attacks on his religeon, especially from people who have a crapfit if anyone speaks out against the Muslim religeon, but it's okay to spit all over Christians.  I understand if you don't have a paticular religeon that you follow, that's your right,  but that doesn't give you the right to talk down to anyone else because of their religeon! Cruz is nothing more than a talking head. Says what some people want to hear but no substance. He has no clue. His main talking point is to abolish every word of Obama Care.
Obama Care is a production in the works. Something that needs a lot of work, but it is a start. I am sure glad Cruz was not around when the Wright Brothers took their first flight. :)

Well said. Too many politicians pander to Christians and demonize the other side solely for a vote, while living very un-Christlike lives.

Christians aren't the only ones falling for political BS. All the large demographic groups who believe politicians actually represent them fall for it.

What bothers me most about these attacks now is the attacks on his religeon

You didn't watch the movie God's Not Dead recently, did you?   :p  (just kidding)

Politicians and televangelists aren't attacked for being Christian or Jewish.  Although I'm sure there's plenty of conservative news, blogs, and even movies claiming there's a war against it.  The attacks are when people use it to preach hate or divisiveness against others, or use it for political/financial gain (e.g. Jimmy Swaggert, Joyce Meyer).  For example, when Pat Robertson or Fred Phelps preach hate against people, they're open to criticism just like anyone else.  The Bible, Koran, or Torah can't be used as a shield when the user goes off the deep end.  Those are extreme examples, but you get the point.

^Not that there's anything wrong with that...  I have many hateful, bigoted friends.  I just choose not to agree with their lifestyle choices.  :sarcasm:

Posted by irisheyes on Apr. 09 2015,9:24 am
Actually, there's far better reasons to criticize Ted Cruz than his religious beliefs.  I don't have a problem with his faith.  It's his economic beliefs, they would roll us back to the 19th Century.

Seriously, liberals want you guys to nominate him.  If Republicans nominate a Canadian Tea-bagger, you might as well just give us 2016.

But that won't happen, it's a book tour before the coming attractions.

There's plenty of topics and posts on Clinton, my point was trying to get you back to topic.  Or, don't you have any questions regarding Cruz background or platform?   :(

You keep telling us you're not a Republican, but if you jump behind every candidate the GOP puts in front of you...   :dunno:

Wow!  It's still considered a scandal?  I figured by now it was destined to be just another conspiracy imagined by some right wingers.
