ST. PAUL — Minnesota’s unemployment rate has dropped below 5 percent for the first time in nearly six years as the state climbs further out of the deep hole caused by the Great Recession.

The question being, do they cook the numbers like the Feds do?

No, its because we have forced labor/concentration camps and millions of FEMA caskets to bury the unemployed.. :dunce: :sarcasm:

Still, 27% of people on unemployment are not even looking for a job. Another thing that gets me fired up is people who quit their jobs are awarded UI. How is it you can quit on your own and still the state will give you a check?!?!?!?

There are legitimate reasons to quit your job and still receive unemployment. A dramatic reduction in hours, illegal activity, hostile work environment, and harassment are just a few. If you are forced to quit you deserve unemployment. If the employeer doesn't contest the claim, or the judge rules in your favor you get your benefits.
