There are jobs,

One just needs to take the initiative and effort.
Of course Alky and Irish think everything should be handed to them.

Then if there are no jobs in your area, move to where the jobs are.

Pretty damned obvious.

These folks might have to take a job in a different field, they might have to take a cut in pay. Sitting around waiting for a check from the gov.?  Have a little self-respect.

Why not, these two are the resident left wing loons, they can defend themselves.

Just so I understand this right ALCitizens, you are ok with a person leaving a full time job with benifits, to go to another job he quits because they had manditory overtime. Now he is awarded UI from the state and your fine with this? I'm a little confused to your line of thinking? Not saying I'm the sharpest tool in the shed, but I think if you quit 2 places on your own the state should not take care of you.

Unemployment benefits are based on how much you WORK, not on how much you don't work..

If you work 1 month in a 24 month period and get laid off you might qualify for $25 a week if that..

You have to build up benefits by WORKING.. No worky, no benefits..
