Again, people now days just need to toughen up, and grow some thick skin, all of this political correctness crap is destroying everything. Death to political correctness.
Agreed...that some people need to toughen up, but NOT everyone.
I don't care what political agenda a person supports...to pretend that if more people in this country were thick skinned instead of speaking out in defense of oppression and harm by one citizen/group upon another, is ignorant.
There is no political correctness. There is only the truth or a lie.

Is it NOT true that black entertainers regularly use the word?
What about your claim that she condemned the use of the word by those same entertainers in that clip?
QUOTE
If you are offended by her quoting the black entertainers, take a tip from Bill Engvall--instead of "Here's your sign!"--"HERE'S YOUR BOX OF KLEENEX!"
I'm not offended, I just don't like her, and I already told you why I don't like her.
This isn't political correctness, she can say whatever she wants. But other people have the right to not like what she says and change the station.
QUOTE
You'll be GLAD if it "ruins her career"--even if she is innocent of any racial bias? And YOU say that SHE is hypocritical?
How is that hypocritical? Is there another definition of the word hypocritical that I'm not aware of?
QUOTE
Frankly, I'm with GD--I'm tired of people that are so "constantly outraged" that they have to make up NEW things to be "outraged" about.
If you've seen any of the clips of tea party rallies, I'd say that liberals don't have a monopoly on being constantly outraged. I think conservatives have really perfected that emotion.
Rush & O'Reilly used to be good enough, but now they've passed the torch to a guy who cries, dumps gasoline on people, and tells the audience how the progressives are coming to slaughter them. Common guys, conservatives love outrage!

What about your claim that she condemned the use of the word by those same entertainers in that clip?
Did she not TWICE point out the hypocrisy of blacks being "outraged" by the word--all the while using it themselves?
QUOTE

Not at all--the definition of hypocrite hasn't changed.
QUOTE
hyp·o·crite /ˈhɪpəkrɪt/ [hip-uh-krit] –noun 1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs. 2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.
You condemn Dr. Laura for pointing out that black entertainers use the "N-word"--you are "outraged" that she did so--
YET--you "Hope either way that her career is ruined"--even though she showed no racial bias. I would say that in finding outrage that Dr. Laura caused harm to others, while expressing that same wish YOURSELF--it meets the definition of hypocrisy.
Maybe it would be good if everybody went back and watched Blazing Saddles. Mel Brooks lampooned racism by "using it to his advantage" in the movie. Predictably, the PC crowd didn't get it--and they were once again "outraged"--not picking up on the fact that Brooks was making fun of racists. There are dozens of references in the movie. nullMy Webpage

Chris Rock says it best in the very first minute of his routine tho so pay close attention to the opening words.

My deepest feeling about politicians is that they are dangerous lunatics to be avoided when possible and carefully humored; people, above all, to whom one must never tell the truth. (W. H. Auden)
If you really wish to actually HEAR her though you can find it at Media Matters that paragon of all things newsworthy.
It's really too bad that she is right and that she is catching so much flak for stating the facts.

Sure, but that's just saying it's a double standard, you claimed she condemned the use of the word by entertainers. "It depends how it's said..." That doesn't sound like it rises to the level of condemnation to me.
You started using the words condemn & outrage a lot in this thread. Maybe YOU are taking this too seriously.

Where did I CONDEMN her for that? I said I don't like her, and yes, I hope her show fails. But, I don't have to like everyone and hope they do well. On the contrary, I've repeatedly said she has a right to her opinion or say whatever she wants.

Yeah, I rented it a few years after you mentioned it on.
