State of the Union 2012
What do you think?
Posted on: Jan. 24 2012,9:51 pm by irisheyes

This was a pretty good SOTU, I think.  Obviously putting a lot of pressure on Congress to present him with some legislation regarding insider trading, tax policy, etc.  Pretty good opening about his grandfather and other WWII veterans coming home and getting job training and bringing the economy back from the Great Depression.  Similar to last year when he pushed Congress to stimulate the economy through rebuilding infrastructure.

Republican response seemed pretty dry.  I know I'm biased, but I would think they could've picked someone more lively or charismatic to deliver the message.
