How about an "old box car diner" behind the old Wallaces store, that had caught on fire but this photo looks like the diner after the remodeling? What was the name of the diner though? It's my dads guess he said he used to go in there.

Have to go with the old Maidrite. There is still one in Austin with pretty much the same set up. Wish they had the same prices.
