After the post by Navin R Johnson, I thought it was time to get down to something really important...movies.

I love the Outlaw Josey Wales.

My favorite line...the scene when the bounty hunter walks into the bar.  Josey asks him is he is a bounty hunter to which the reply is "mans got ta do something for a livin"

Josey..."die'n ain't much of a livin' boy".  Tim Pawlenty, then majority leader of the house, lost a bet for a 12 pac of diet coke on this one...thought I had the line wrong...

LMAO @ Repdan, see, we do agree on something. I love that movie, big Clint fan. Love the line you mentioned, also like the one where he just killed the two hillbillies and the kid asks him, "Aint we gonna bury em Josey?" Clint spits on the dead mans forehead and says, " Worms gotta eat to." How about when the old indian dam near gets his ass kicked by the indian woman and tells Clint that it a good thing you stopped me, I might have killed her. LOL, Makes me want to go watch it now.

Speaking of bounty hunters. Is our little county attorney still going after a 80 year old man for posting a sign?

Close on the line, but it's Buzards gota eat ...same as a worm.

I also like Chief Dan George's line after they think they have lost the indian woman...

The Josey says something like, Just when I get to like'n someone they ain't around for long...

to which chief dan responds...I noticed that when you get to dis like'n someone they around for much loner either.

I have used the line that Fletcher uses on the Senator..."don't pi#$ down my back and tell me it's rainin.

Yup, you are right about that line, I forgot half of it. High Plains Drifter is a favorite of mine also. The Good, the bad, and the ugly, what a classic.  :D

"What in the wide, wide world of sports is a'goin' on?"  When it comes down to a line for every social occasion, a line guaranteed to offend almost everyone, it's hard to beat "Blazing Saddles"--coming up on its 30th anniversary next year.  It uses every cliche in the Western genre--its subtitle borrows from W.C. Fields--"never give a saga an even break!" :)

Rep Dan that sounds like Judge Judy's first book entitled after something her father used to say to her "don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining".

Jim...Blazing Saddles is a great film.  Another House Member and I think we should stand up on the floor of the House and re-create the Town Hall meeting where Gabby Johnson stands and speaks followed by the rest of the Johnsons.
After listening to someone go on and on one of us is going to get up and say "now who can agrue with that"......................
