The report says the lady bugs are back and it could be worse then last year. Is there nothing we can do to kill these bugs?

We can send a man to the moon and metal to mars but we can't kill a lady bug? :p

These bugs are just nasty! They bite, they stink, they loiter, they gather in large groups and invade towns ....

I'm being invaded as well in my 1917 built house. I bought a bug light and hung it in my basement where a lot of bugs hang out. I also blocked the light from the windows . They seem to be attracted to light.
It kills about 40 or more a day . Doesn't sound like alot but 10days 400 dead bugs in one spot easy to vacuum.

The first light already quit so I'm on my second one. Its well worth the $25 and no pesticides
They drop on a cement floor in flames. Don't have combustibles below.

Even though we still have lots of bugs I get a sense of satisfaction every time I hear one frying.

Best way to kill the bugs once they start getting more active is to wrap duct tape sticky side out around a piece of 1x2 or something and put it in their path so they crawl right on the tape and get stuck.  No stink or mess from swatting them.

I know of a guy who sprays for the nasty little bugs and it is 100% safe.  Pets and people can be in the house with no side effects.  He sprays the house in the spring and in the fall.  Works really well.  You will still have to vaccuum the bugs up until the bugs are eliminated.  In the spring he sprays the inside of the windows and in the fall he sprays the outside of the windows.  I'll see if I can get his # if anyone is interested.
