^^ You weren't there, you're making an assessment based on propaganda coming from the Constitutional Carry crowd.

The 20 year bad guy also got his weapons under these loose gun laws.

My opinion, none of you wannabes should be allowed a Military style rifle until you complete your Military Obligation and are awarded a Honorable Discharge...

I'm basing my opinion on the facts of what has been reported and by the fact of the difficulty of hitting a moving target at distance with a sidearm and scoring higher than 60%.

You do know "military style" means nothing, pretty much any firearm today could be considered "military style" it's a BS term and you know it.
Honestly do you think firearm design would stay static and resemble firearm design from the 1800/1900's?  Are you going to throw a fit when energy based weapons hit the market and call them "military style" when they most likely won't even resemble what they look like today?

Loose gun laws huh?  Well considering 20 is an adult and an adult has the enumerated negative right to keep and bear arms, it's pretty much how enumerated negative rights work, rights don't require prerequisites to exercise.  Then again there isn't any thing loose about the firearm laws in this country due to the amount of BS one has to go through to purchase a firearm.

Military service in no way confers a knowledge in firearms or makes one any better in their handling than the next guy.  At the least any one can sit and hit targets at 25m to 300m and get their marksmanship pin.

I've gone up against so called hard asses in force on force training and when they get their assess handed to them they do the same thing you are doing, they start spouting off and make excuses.

are the odds of a conceal carry person being at a mass-shooter event published in your NRA Bible?

and now that we've decided our savior at the mall. was no ordinary shooter. . he's more of what we might call an 'expert' marksman?

so guess we will need the odds of that now as well. . .

so in the annals of your gun theology. .  does that mean. .  that when we all should be carrying guns. that we would all need a rigorous ongoing commitment to our shooting proficiency?

like as much as say a police officer? which you seemed to have already stated. . . they generally on the whole. .  are not that good at shooting. . . right?

so maybe. .  even more training.. .  than they get?  :dunno:

your championing of guns as a solutions to guns seems to have a lot of conflicting. . . information imo

it sounds like we need more people with guns. but its hard to shoot. so they need more training? but even that doesn't produce good results. so we need even more rare expert marksman?

personally not going to go along with that as a viable sane solution for solution to gun violence. . .

just curious:

when you say you've gone up against hard asses. . . what does that mean exactly?

where you shooting live rounds at each other? was it laser tag? paintball?

you don't wear your hair in a man-bun by any chance do you?

As much as I try to parse this, why do you post in a Dr. Suss manner?

grammatical conventions are an ever-changing thing. . .

now that communication has shifted to being PC based

would imagine it is going to be changing even more dramatically. .  in the coming years

perhaps even evolve back to a glyph type of writing of some sort?  :dunno:

being a well behaved. .  anal. .  20th century grammar rule expert practitioner. .  doesn't preclude you from letting your religious bias get in the way of clearer reasoned thinking

while wouldn't say your grammar skills are expert by any means. . .

would say. .  you have the full of shit part down. .  pretty good

What?

exactly

why do you dis someone who honorably served in the military?

cause you're a laser tag champion?

Pointing out logical fallacies isn't dissing anyone.
Laser tag?  You do know force on force training use simunitions, yes?

:dunce:
used to be a guy who posted in the AL Tribune Opine section. . .  that liked to throw around the term 'logical fallacies'. . . he clearly had some real issues going in. . . not good. .   wonder if you're in the younger stages of that. .    :(

the way see it -

Grinning Man Bun (and really Anus T Gerbil by proxy) got 'shot' down at frame 163

got their asses handed to them. in grand fashion

poor little babies were stunned. . .

so the frontal Anus T Gerbil. .  'desperately' tried to volley out his usual disrespectful pollution. . .

which softened up the ground for Grinning Man Bun. .  to come in and try to pretend he didn't get owned. . .

you two got your asses handed to you. . . (what else is new lol)

it's really that simple

^^ wow, I just post here mostly because I’m bored, during the week I have a lot of downtime, this weekend, Mrs SB is working. So here we have the Gerbilboy, it looks like he’s trying to makeup for last weekend when he went missing, I suspect he was in jail for some nefarious reasons that we’re probably better off not knowing about. We have GD who really has done nothing to deserve the abusesive treatment he’s been shown yet Gerbilboy lays into him with all the charm of a third grade bully with the intellect of a turnip. Incidentally, GD can take care of himself from what I’ve read of his posts over the years.

Hey Gerbilboy, maybe you should go back to being “Let Freedom Ring”, at least then you weren’t so grumpy from disappointing rodent adventures. Maybe a more rewarding career other than being a “coffee boy”.

I suggest you contact the Defense Department, tell the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin about your abilities and this Force on Force training..I'm sure he could use a good laugh too...

The Army is always on the outlook for fresh cannon fodder, you seem to like to play why don't you try the real thing..

I'm sure an operator of your stature would get a waiver to circumvent all that obsolete mundane training the military provides..

And if you show them that diploma from the Clown College they might give you a little butter bar to stick on your uniform..

kind of poor editing. . . but come to expect that these days from all sources. . .

does the punishment fit the crime? :dunno:

almost seems like an offense worthy of losing your right to bear arms?

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A rural Rochester man has been sentenced to three years probation for a series of shootings on New Year's Day.

64-year-old Paul Reichel was also fined $500. He earlier admitted to gross misdemeanor harassment charges through a plea agreement that resulted in the dismissal of six counts of second-degree assault.

Reichel was accused of shooting at a pickup truck occupied by three men who had been hunting pheasants on land owned by one of the men near Elgin. According to the criminal complaint, an Olmsted County Deputy later met up with the land owner and he described a harrowing ordeal that occurred after he and the two other hunters left his property.

He told the deputy that he stopped on a road in Farmington Township after the hunters spotted a pheasant in the ditch, but left when a woman came out of a nearby home and yelled at them. He says they were then chased down by a man in a pickup who passed their vehicle and then blocked the road by stopping at an angle. The man stated the driver of the other pickup then we got out and pointed what appeared to be an AR 15 rifle at them. He also reported hearing what sounded like several gunshots when he drove away from the confrontation.

The victim indicated the man with the rifle resumed chasing the hunters and fired his gun at least two more times before the pursuit ended. An investigator from the Sheriff's Office was able to locate Reichel, who claimed the hunters had threatened his wife. He also admitted firing his gun in their direction. The court document alleges that Reichel told detention deputies at the Olmsted County Jail that "they started this, I just made the mistake in not finishing it."
