Personally, I've had enough of the taxes and incompetence and have been looking at moving out of Minnesota. Only thing keeping me here is family, but we can always come back for visits.

I already shop more online and out of town because of the sales tax and I can guarantee that I'll shop locally even less now.

Apparently the County Board doesn't have the balls to increase property taxes to fix the roads but I guess their farming buddies wouldn't have liked a property tax to pay for the county roads that are mostly used, and abused by the farmers.

Yes, it is. But I hate the idea of having a mortgage and even an apartment will set you back $150k. There's a nice 3 bedroom in Westminster for $220,000 and it doesn't even have bars on the windows and doors, so it's not all bad.

Not a fan of the traffic though, even going to get a cup of coffee in the morning you end up on 6 and 8 lane roads.

Usually Rochester, haven't been to Mason City in 5 years. I like to shop in cities where I can get coral reef supplies and Rochester has two stores that sell coral and supplies.

Iowa is a little to red of a state for me to live in, and the wife has family in Colorado. If I were going to live in red state I think I'd go with Kentucky,  Ive got some family left down there, I lived there for 3 years in the 80's, and spent a couple weeks there every summer when I was a kid.

Here's a quiz to help you decide the best place for you to live. It tells me Palo Alto California. I think I'll pass on California between wildfires, earthquakes, and Californians I don't think I'd care to live there

I took one of those once. I think it said Kansas. Sounds about right.

If you get too far south better be prepared for a reverse winter situation where you are indoors in the air conditioning.

Even Des Moines would be a reprieve in winter punishment.

Arkansas has a good rep as a place to relocate.

Liberal,

How the hell do you get anything done? All you do is complain and you are so negative. Please move on!! We don't care.

If you actually worked instead of paying attention to politics maybe you could make some money and the half cent wouldn't matter you piece of horse crap!!

Are you married? Geez if you are your wife must be on depression pills!
