Gotta keep this thread hot.  Somebody [CRAIG NELSON] needs to investigate this immediately and make a public accounting of the results.

Of course that means if Craig Nelson is in charge, well...... :dunno:

Give it a rest about Kehr and Ahern.

I'm a long way out from being done with them.

I had nothing to do with any of this, but I seem to be the one you keep targeting.
Nice to see you noticed, but you see, Tuttle is being dealt with.

Give it up. You're not that important. Tuttle is not being "dealt" with because of anything said on this forum. And keep ranting and raving about Kehr and Ahern, it'll really get you somewhere. NOT!

I have more important things in my life to worry about than Kehr and Ahern, like how I'm going to pay my bills and feed my family when I don't have a job. Since you're so important, got a job for me that pays well?

Well the city at least went to Waseca Co. to do their investigation into the city manager and it happened in May, June and July of this year.  The county went to the State Auditor (maybe) for something that happened in 2009, and was brought to light in March of 2010, and noone has heard anything since.  I think they should have went to Waseca Co. to get it done with.????????  Looks like intentional foot dragging :dunno:

It is not Craig Nelson's job to investigate alleged crimes.

Law Enforcement is responsible for investigations and initializing the process to pursue charges against a person if they believe a crime may have been committed.

After Law Enforcement sends their investigation information to the County Attorney's office for review, the County Attorney's office then decides if or what charges can be filed against a person.  This usually is determined by what crimes (if any) the County Attorney's office believes has the best potential to pursue because of sufficient evidence leading to a conviction and/or plea agreement.

This is why I asked WHO is supposed to have allegedly stolen civil process money?

If an investigation was done by law enforcement and if they were able to determine a crime may have been committed by someone, I think the public should know.

On the other hand, if Law Enforcement didn't determine any one person (s) might have took this money inappropriately, the County Attorney's office can't file charges against an "unknown suspect" either, therefore, the public won't be informed any further.

I'd really like to know who people on here think the "main" suspect could be for the missing civil process money.   :dunno:

The original article in the paper said they would have more.  There hasn't been anymore let out.  If they have a suspect, we can be told who.  If they don't have a suspect we can be told they don't.  If it was misappropriated or lost becasue of bad managing, we can be told that to.  If they screwed up the investigation, they can tell us that.  And if they claim they have found it after the fact in some unknow account they forgot about, lets have an explanation for that.  They are not telling us anything.  The Sheriff is responsible for the Sheriff's Department.  There is nothing says he cannot address this matter with an explanation.  I think he would have addressed it but he wants us to worry about issuing gun permits.

They typically don't tell the public anything if they don't know anything and they sure as heck aren't going to admit to screwing up an investigation.   :;):

It is my understanding also that the Sheriff's Department is who handles civil process.

In my opinion the Sheriff  wants to campaign to support the right to bear arms.

Have you thought of asking to talk to the Sheriff in person and directly about this?
