It makes more sense to enforce the law and collect money they already passed a law to collect other than not collect it and push to sell advertising in the urnals at the new courthouse

Take a step back and see the big picture over time. Paul Sparks has been manager of Albert Lea during it's worst economic period in it's history...coincidence?
Of course not. Paul was allowed way too much power for WAY too long.

This is probably the most discussed topic on this board (Sparky's decisions & power) and there is a reason for that.
Whether it is all Sparky's fault (Albert Lea poor economic performance over 30 years) or not, he needs to go, the economic viability of a city is at stake! Look at his track record. Don't give me this 'well taxes are killing us, everyone is going to Iowa', REAL leaders find a way to overcome these barriers and get results, in 30 years, Sparky has not done that.
Sparky needs to go, time for a change, what do we have to lose? Thanks for the memories Paul, too bad none are good ones.

Like we have stated before Sparks is just a bag-boy for the boyz downtown ie: King Henry (Savekoul) I want to know where that petition is to go door to door and have residents sign it to get rid of Sparks?

There is a Technicailty in the Law regarding this,just like the way the County Commissioners Avoided a Referrendum.Technicalitys make the world go around.what was done is very legal.
Sparks recommended this and the city Counselors passed with everyone voting yes.
