Yeah conspiracy theories abound when it comes to why Ross Peru dropped out of the race. He sure seemed to have a lot of interest and momentum until then.
QUOTE Presidential Candidate
Always politically outspoken, Perot decided to step off the sidelines and get into the action in the spring of 1992. He was disappointed in President George Bush and didn't like any of the potential Democratic candidates. Positioning himself as a political outsider, Perot wrote about his ideas for rebuilding a troubled America in United We Stand: How We Can Take Back Our Country. He also broadcasted his political views in infomercials, using his substantial wealth to buy air time across the country. Perot had a down-home style and a habit for speaking in snappy sound-bites, which appealed to many members of the voting public. As journalist Paul Burka wrote in Texas Monthly, "Perot is the candidate of the disaffected, the disenchanted, the fed up: the people whose contempt for politics has passed beyond cynicism to despair."
His campaign seemed to gather momentum as the political race heated up. Perot promoted himself as a reformer, building on his success with the Texas Public Education system in the 1980s. But, in July, he dropped out of the race, later claiming that the Republican Party had plans to embarrass his daughter Carolyn before her wedding. According to The New York Times, Perot believed that the Bush campaign was going to start a rumor about his daughter's sexuality.
Perot returned to the race in October with only weeks left before the election. Despite this setback, he managed to garner nearly 19 percent of the popular vote. Perot was the first independent candidate since Teddy Roosevelt in 1912 to receive this large of a share of the popular vote. Still the lion's share of voters chose Democrat Bill Clinton. Perot faced off against Clinton again in 1996, but his campaign failed to win over much public support.

I would hope the entire government would be concerned about computer security, at all levels for everyone.
It would be nice to see things move more towards decorum and appreciation of the gravitas that should be present when we're dealing with the presidency.
Fox News, and the election coverage in general, all reads like The National Enquirer or some Hollywood celebrity rag.

At what point do you say enough is enough Donald Trump. You're not exercising free speech and only speaking your mind, you're yelling fire in a crowded theater.
"Hey Russia hack us!"
Oh. I didn't really say that. I said. . .
No immigrants except his wife. I think the president's wife should have to be a natural born citizen as well.

CNN isn't, and considering how many Republicans tune in to MSNBC just to see a Republican former Congressmen do their bidding, MSNBC's bias depends on the time of day you're watching it.
Most networks are still pandering the false narrative that Hillary lied about Benghazi, or that she did something wrong with an email server while Secretary of State. Despite overwhelming investigations that none of these was illegal, unethical, or dishonest. The only thing the news networks are in the basket for is generating ratings for ad revenue.

^^ Of course the networks are in it for ratings but they're all filled with idealists, not journalists If you still think Chairman Cow didn't lie about Bengazi then you need to look at the fact that she'll totally incompetent. Pay attension to the FBI news dump that came out Friday, there's a reason it came out on the Friday before Labor Day.
