The Sheriff would of had his team ready to play today.  The Sheriff would of won today's game.  Thanks to all on this board for the continued support and if your looking for the Sheriff, look on the HIGH road, that's where I'll be.

So Denny who will be the next Vikings coach? We know it won't be you. You can't win the big game. Remember Alanta?

You're oh so right Coach Green. You would have had the purple whipped into a frenzy and our boys would have destroyed the lowly Arizona crew. And who knows what could have happened in the playoffs after that? No, wait, maybe we all do. Yessirree Bob Schnelker, the loss in the Valley of the Sun ranks right up there with the all-time worst meltdowns for the Queenies, though it does pale in comparison to the January '99 NFC Championship debacle at the Humperdome and the December '75 Hail Mary loss to the Cowgirls at the old Met. What does it mean? It means if the Queens can't beat the Cardinals, they deserve to be watching the playoffs on their big-screens. And it also means we need the Sheriff. Now more than ever.

As the saying goes " You get what you pay for"!!! Tice is the lowest paid coach in the NFL, $800K!!! Look back when they were winning, why pull Gus??  He really had them on a roll!!! Play the big guy because of the big bucks, what a deal. Those 3 points that were ignored in the first quarter looks mighty big right now. with all that was on the line it would seem purdent that you would take the points as they presented them selves!!! If it is any consolation it is that Green Bay is the better team to represent the Divison. Tice has one more year then he is out of here as i think the vikes will be to. :(

I'm not much into football, so I have a stupid question - How can AZ be credited with that touchdown when the quarterback hadn't even thrown the ball before time ran out?  I can see if he threw it with one second left and the receiver caught it after time ran out, but he threw it quite a few seconds after the clock ran out!  How does that work?!

LisaMarie, in football as time is running out, the quarterback does not have to throw the ball before time runs out. As long as the ball is snapped and in play before time is out, the final play will last until the whistle has blown and the ball is dead. Its not like basketball where the ball would have to leave the players hand before time expires. Even after all that happens, if there is a defensive penalty on the last play, the offense gets another play, they could actually start a play with no time on the clock. The game cannot end on a defensive penalty. Hope that answered your question about the ball leaving his hand.

The touchdown would not have counted had the Vikings defense not touched the AZ player.  If you watch the replay only one foot came down in the endzone.  In my opinion he would have had a tough time getting that second foot down.  Our players however pushed him out of bounds making the touchdown stand.  I enjoy watching the VIkings but the performance they put on yesterday shows they don't deserve to go to the playoffs.  As far as Tice goes, he's going to be lucky to have a paycheck coming in after his decision not to take those three points

I was up near the cities and listen to the game on my way home, and the after the game show. The call in listeners wanted the heads of the entire coaching staff and including Red McCombs. No one blamed the players, but the feeling was the game should have been executed as was the game against Kansas City. I was so looking forward to the Kansas City Chief VS Mn Vikings in the superbowl. I guess it will be Green Bay vs Kansas City. A repeat of this years earier exibihtion game.

So Denny I see that the Ax is starting to fly around the NFL so where are you going to end up? Chicago, Atlanta, I am sure there are plenty of teams that would love to have you get them into the playoff’s only to choke  But I have to admit  at least you get them there!  :)
